Veteran gamer Shiroe and other players have been trapped in the world of the online game Elder Tales for six months. The once chaotic city of Akiba has regained its everyday hustle and bustle following the formation of the self-governing organization Round Table Meeting. The earthlings, who are originally from the game world, have gained the trust of Shiroe by waging a defensive war against the Goblins in Zantleaf Region. This has led Princess Rayneshia of the Cowen family, the highest-ranking Earthling Aristocrats, to live in Akiba.

It's almost winter and the Adventurers are thinking about what they're going to do and what their goals are in this other world. Will they remain in Akiba or go to the city of the West? Or will they travel to the land of the North or another faraway country? The opinions of the Adventurers begin to diverge. What adventures await the members of the Shiroe team in this second series of Log Horizon?

Forewarning: If you haven't watch the previous season, you will be very confused about what's going on in this anime.

Found the episode to be not bad, but not that great. Hoping it gets better with the next one.
 
I'm pretty new to animes in general, but this looks pretty awesome. Definitely going to check it out; thanks for the share!
 
This most recent episode was phenomenal. I'm really enjoying watching them actually fight raid bosses. As someone who has played a lot of single player rpgs, I find it incredibly interesting to watch how each member works as part of a much larger team. This show has actually made me seriously consider trying a mmorpg.
 
'Still have to watch the first season... it's on my watch list once I can get to it again!
 
Watch this episode as they describe what raiding in an MMO is. It will be quick and simple, only taking up half an episode.

At least they are also doing stuff instead of just talking. For example, the most recent episode of SAO II has them talking for a good 10 minutes with a conversation that just goes in circles.

Pretty sure that was Santa Claus at the end too lol.

Actually, I'm not so sure. Wouldn't be surprised if it was the equivalent because Santa Claus doesn't exist in that world (as opposed to SAO). Maybe it's one of the Southern land leaders?

Oooooo.... blood. That's completely new. I think this Santa has the ability to actually kill someone. This is certainly a plot twist.
 
Actually, they never did fully explain in the anime how people playing an MMORPG are stuck in the game itself. It's not like Sword Art Online where they're using headgear to get virtually implanted into the game. They've been playing on a regular keyboard and mouse like most of us so it'll be interesting how the anime is going to explain that in the series.

Other thoughts I had: Who was that old guy polishing the knights back in episode 1? Is it possible that the attacker is a virus since this is a supposedly virtual world?

I knew it. Of course it wasn't an adventurer. Still though... Royal Guard Armor??!! That's so OP lol. Still it was a nice battle, they went beast mode on that guy. And the emotions... Can you say goosebumps? Also, who the hell did the princess think she was talking to lmao!

@Cheezy Actually, it appears that the people killed in the city aren't perma-dead. And my previous observation still stands. Who was the guy polishing the armor...
