I listen to Metal and Rock mostly.

In one day, I can listen to everything from Britpop (Suede, Pulp, Oasis) to Black Metal (Burzum, Darkthrone, Bathory), with lots of post-punk (Joy Division, The Cure, Killing Joke) and progressive rock (Pink Floyd, Yes, Genesis) in-between. You can say I have a pretty wide musical taste.

I like some rap (Mainly Eminem) and a lot of older rock.

Not a fan of Death myself, but I do enjoy a good amount of older Death Metal. I forgot to mention Immortal on my last post and was pleased to see them spoken of.

Electronic stuff, mostly. This last week or so I've been super into darkstep (Black Sun Empire, Captain Panic, N.Phect). Before that it was mostly electroswing (Dimaa, Parov Stelar, Grant Lazlo) and glitch hop (Savant, PANTyRAiD, Opuio, Pegboard Nerds).

Though now I'm starting to listen to a whole lot of trip hop (#1 spot going to Emancipator. That guy is a genius).

I really, really like interesting drum rhythms and the type of bass that vibrates just below the surface, so the whole song feels like it's humming. I listen to pretty much anything from Sunn O))) to Miley Cyrus and everything in between.

Current obsessions are:

- TV Girl, who has this great lo-fi indie pop sound that made them the perfect band for this summer.

- Moondog, an experimental composer and professional mad man, whose life story will probably become a critically acclaimed bio-pic one day.

- Future of the Left, a terminally under-appreciated Welsh noise-rock band that I can't stop listening to for some reason.

- CunninLynguists, an Underground hip-hop group whose latest album is pretty much what Deltron Event II should have been.

I listen to almost everything except country, dubstep, and most metal, albeit there are some exceptions. As long as it has a good beat, a good voice, and meaningful lyrics i can listen to it.
