I have a few choices to choose from. Used to use Century Link DSL but dropped it due to inconsistent connectivity issues. Been happy with Comcast so far

There is a new one going to be popping up in my area from Vivint that will offer a fixed wireless at 50 mb/s. might switch

...or any fiber. People seem to forget about municipal fiber like ebp in Chattanooga, where their utility company gives them gigabit for the same price as Google Fiber.

Well. I live in Oregon. So. Google fiber is pretty much all we got for fiber anything.

While it's had its issues (as well as not very high speeds), been using CenturyLink since it merged with Qwest.

I believe it's around 80-90$ a month, I'm not certain though. I don't pay for it

I have a fiber optic connection with all cables in the house running Cat6. We will be upgrading to Cat7 eventually.

Steer clear of AT&T, I'm actually filing a BBB complaint against them because they refuse to re-cut a check for an overpayment, I forgot to cash the check and it hid in a drawer, I found it after it expired but they won't send me another one-essentially they are stealing from me.

Had Time Warner. By far the worst costumer service(phone and in person) I have ever dealt with.

Had Comcast. By far the worst actual service (Internet was down so much or working at 1/4 or 1/2 capacity all the time).

Have Cox right now. Again their phone service seems to go though the same people Time Warner does. But by far the most consistent I have ever dealt with in the internet giving the speed I'm paying for along with actually being up and running.

I get cable and internet through Google for $130. The gigabit internet by itself is 70/mo. Google does have an option for free internet. You pay a $300 installation fee and you get free internet. Its not the gigabit internet, but its still free.

I have 20down/2up with CenturyLink. When it works, it's great. But they do have inconsistent connectivity issues quite frequently, a few times a week or so.
