So I'm not one for long walls of text but after server changes, certain players no longer being active or even around anymore I just feel that the tf2 div has evolved past what I came to know it as. Not to say I won't still be around our servers/teamspeak/events I just no longer feel that drive to wear the =(eGO)= tag.

If there's some life situation that's the cause of your departure, then great. I just don't understand why people post to just say what essentially amounts to "this place sucks, cya!". Things do change, and quite frankly it's a little naive to think that a dynamic gaming community is going to always be the way it's been.

Everything ends, people change. It's becoming clear that this division is entering a new age (different servers, leadership, members, etc.)

Regardless of you leaving us, which makes me sad really, it was fun to play Dino D-Day with you and the rest of gang. Hope you still come by to visit.

While the division feels like its entering a new age as Rawburt states, we are still the same people we were before we got to these positions...Dedicated TF2 members like YOU (and we still are). I look forward going through this new era with everyone, I assure you guys the virtual door is open and you have a very approachable team to talk to so speak up to leadership if there is something you feel you may not be right as I rather try to figure out a way to solve issues than not having any feedback and more people leaving when maybe we can work out a solution.

I think some people just want to say goodbye to a community that has possibly meant a lot to them. I don't see anything wrong with that. I sure don't see any malice in Faty's post, and I think sometimes it's just nice to get some closure.
