I don't know about any of the other baseball lovers here, but I am really excited with the direction the postseason is going. Although I'm extremely biased as a Giants fan, I love seeing both wild card game winners go the championship series.

I can't think of the last time that there have been so many must-see postseason games. Both the Royals and Orioles are so fun to watch and I can't wait to see them go against each other.

As for yet another year of Giants-Cards baseball in the NL, I think this series is going to be vastly more fun to watch than a Dodgers-Nationals series would be. Both the Giants and the Cardinals have so many personable players that make the emotion and excitement of the game so great.

My prediction for the World Series is the Giants-Royals with the Royals winning in extra innings of game 7.

What about the rest of you baseball fans? Who are you rooting for this postseason?

And if your team didn't make it this year, what are you hoping for next year? I know that all the Marlins fans have gotta be excited as the talent pool in Miami just keeps growing, especially with Fernandez coming back.

I'm a Cubs fan so i don't know what the playoffs are, but...

Would love to see the Royals or Orioles win it. Can't stand either of the NL teams, plus the Giants and Cards have been there way too much in recent years.

GO O'S!!! (I'm from Baltimore so yea... Quite biased)

All I know is that Kershaw is a choker in the playoffs.....

Even better than the Giants clinching an NLCS berth is seeing Kershaw go 0-2 with a 7.85 ERA.

Also, I don't really get what there is to dislike about the Giants. I know that I'm biased but I can't really think of any players that are despicable or foul players and Bochy is one of the nicest managers in baseball.

Lived down in San Diego most of my life and my dad was good friends with Bochy and Randy Jones (ex Padres pitcher) and he really is one of the nicest persons in baseball.

Anyways GO GIANTS!

.

I hope you are right

I used to be a diehard yankees fan. grew up watching them all my life with my dad, but living in nebraska for 10 years we get royals game daily and i started to fall in love with them. even went to some Yankess-royals games down in KC in 2008-2009

Royals/orioles game is gonna be a doozy. Both have solid bullpens, and O's catchers and their pitching staff is good against fast base-stealers like the royals. its power over speed, but i think Royals pitching, specifically our superb bullpen, will get it done, along with the timely hitting of Hosmer/gordon/Moustakas. If we can keep Orioles to less than 3-4 runs a game, we got this. Royals in Seven.

As for the Cardinals/Giants, its also gonna be a great matchup. Some great pitching duels, along with some star players. Its gonna be an offensive shootout in game 3, but 1 and 2 the pitching is just superb i dont see any team going more than 4 runs. I Feel Giants are overall the better team, But weve all seen what St. Louis can do in the playoffs. However, i got the giants winning in 6.

As for the World Series prediction, my pride of a royals fan is saying royals in 6-7, but its gonna be tough against the giants. It will be fun.

Either way, this postseason is very exciting, for Orioles OR the Royals to go into the world series is huge.

I just wanna see Dyson steal third again. I think Perez is the best catcher in the AL, and the Royals have an outfield strong enough to withstand the Orioles power hitters, as long as the pitchers keep em in the park.

I just hope the Orioles always score first because seeing the Royals come back from a deficit is so much fun.

Royals always seem to play their best with their backs against the wall.

Dyson is such a treat to watch, and seeing butler steal second was just icing on the cake. But its the team with Most HRs in baseball against the worse. Dis gun' be good.

I love a good cubs joke.

And how about the Rockies GM and assistant GM "resigning"? I'm at college in Boulder, CO and all the Rockies fans here are elated at any change in management.

Over the past 4 years, the Giants will make it to the World Series on even years and the Cardinals on odd.

Either way, I think a NL team will win it. Hope it is my Cardinals.

Well that wasnt what i expected. Baltimore with 0 home runs and 2 steals? KC with 3 Homeruns and 0 Steals?? quite ridiculous. I hope Shields can do better next time. first time through the order he pitched well, but not the second time. But that sure wasnt what i was expecting.

I don't really watch Baseball anymore, it's not as entertaining as Football, Hockey or Basketball.
But I do love me some Brewers.

How 'bout dem royals?

We haven't been this decent for a long time, so the bandwagon is strong around here. (I'm from Kansas)
