i have just installed the new version of my AMD drivers and my frame rate in video games have dramatically halted from above 60 fps to 5-10. please if anyone knows how to fix this it would be greatly appreciated.

Uh, I'm gonna try and help.

Even though I suck at things like this.

Did you try uninstalling it? Or maybe it's something else that's causing the problem?

You would need to uninstall your graphic drivers and then install the previous set that you want to be at. Save/INstal the previous version of the driver you want to use and have it ready to be used on your desktop (or even on a USB stick). Go to your device manager and then uninstall the current drivers. You would then have to reboot, and it'll be a very basic, 800x600 screen (or worse maybe). From there, you can install the drivers you want to use and from there, you should be fine.

Sweet! I was 1/15th of the way right!

As a future reference, before you install any drivers or system updates, create a restore point. But since you didn't, uninstall the driver then reinstall the driver you'd like.

You can also go to Device Manager, right click the driver, go to properties, driver, and click roll back driver.
