As many eGO members are in school or have graduated school, many members have had very fun or sometimes embarrassing things happen to them or to other people around them.

My Best Memory, was last year. It was in Math Class, it was 8th period, nobody really cared anymore, everybody wanted to go home. I was kinda relaxing, but still paying attention. The teacher asked a question that pertained to the problem we were solving. He asked "How many people are going to Denny's Diner?" and I shouted "Absolutely no one." the whole class laughed, and the teacher laughed and chuckled. But 4 people around me started dying, myself included. I honestly couldn't stop laughing, I laughed so hard I was crying. The teacher started wadding things up and throwing them at me.
It was the funniest thing.

Your turn!

school was over 20 years ago for me i don't even remember teachers names anymore much less classes or classmates

my old high school and elementary doesn't exist anymore either and my old middle school is a day care center now

Best school memory was probably the first time I drove my car to school.

Worse was probably my senior year at graduation. Everybody was in the auditorium watching the seniors walk and all of a sudden the tornado sirens went off. On the way home my timing belt broke and I was stranded on the side of the road in the middle of a nasty storm.

My best memory from school was last year during one of my classes and my friend told me that he could hold his breath for over a minute. Being skeptical I asked him to try, after about 45 seconds he passed out and fell on the floor. The entire class stopped and after he woke up he refused to go to the nurse.

My worst memory was also last year when I was sick during health class and after I asked to go to the nurse I passed out while walking to the door. The most ironic part was that we were learning what to do if someone is unconscious.

Hmmm. its been about 10 years now since I graduated HS... lets see..I have a worst/best memory. It was 9-11-01 I was a sophomore and I was in religion class on the lower level of our school which was about 4 miles from the WTC just across the river in NJ.

Not oblivious to what was about to go down that day one of my friends comes in late like really late that he missed homeroom period and states that the towers had been hit so he was late...The class laughed at him cause hey, never saw this coming and it sounded like a plot off some movie at the time...so we assumed he was trying to make up stories to avoid being sent to detention the following day. Boy did we all feel dumb after that including the teacher. I believe the topic that day was sex (dont ask how they mix) and well our religion teacher she was a bit crazy and British. As for the bad part obviously what happened that day so it was also the worst memory I was given a ride home by one of my teachers once we were allowed to go home since the city was in lock-down. We didn't have cell phones in the vast quantities and like we do today, so everyone was worried and calling in/out of the school. Eventually we were told to not watch the TV during class and go about the learning curriculum until an update came on what to do next. (They really tried to keep our mind off it as it happened)

As for College, (well my first run) I'd have to say there was a silly moment where I was a Membership & Diversity; Event Coordinator for the College Democrats...and I may or may have not suggested to participate in a pro-life rally that was being done by the college. Yeah...never that do and know your politics... lol Needlessly to say my political career ended there though not because of that, I found another major and began studying Japanese.

I think I became involved with frats around my sophmore year, those were fun nights and there was a lot of beer pong involved which I miss.

Lastly, I was an on-air personality overnight/early morning at the college radio station, Ill never forget getting to meet Andrew WK and getting to party with him on stage, walking down to my seat with my station jacket at a Korn concert and people cheering me just for that, and OH being told by my station manager that I had higher ratings than David Lee Roth. The back story to that was that New York lost its Rock station in 2005-06? and they put some talk radio thing. Our station broadcasted a 50 mile radius so New York was part of the market. So before pandora/spotify/sirus-xmradio people did tune in to our station for Rock music. There was also the time I ran for Promotions Director (the guy that has all the freebies and concert tickets to giveaway) All my friends, kinda looked like a mob coming haha came to support me. While I didn't get the position it was pretty cool going through that.

Now that I'm back in school, I'd have to say the best memory to date has to be about a month ago when the former Student Council President asked me to join the executive committee of our hospitality club as Secretary. Worst... probably getting too much attention in class by my peers to the point I was picked to be leader of a group project...my HS self would probably be shaking in fear under the desk.I dont like group things like this at school as I rather take notes, do any homework, study and pass on my own.

tl:dr: 9/11 not the best get out of detetion excuse till yea..., know your politics, yay I was on radio, frats are cool, i stick out too much now.

Best memory is probably my first kiss. Worst memory is probably all of last year, my Freshman year. :chair:

Best memory: My first kiss. My group of friends, including my girlfriend, had decided to go to the movies. Literally everyone else cancelled, leaving us with each other. Good times.

Worst memory: The time where I was bullied so much during a class to the point of crying. It derailed the entire lesson and day plan for the class. No punishments were handed down.

2 more years, then I'm done with high school. For good.

School memories- those are rough. I was the kid people would fall back onto and make fun of to feel better. That was when I had to learn to hide all my emotions from everyone, because if I showed any, it would just lead to more. Something's you don't forget, and cand stop, that's why I'm such a robot and don't smile, laugh, nothing. That also explains why I literally have no real friends, I couldn't trust anyone. I'm trying to learn how to feel emotions again, it's hard but Im making no progress. :( <-- that is what I call emotions. The worst memory is the one I don't remember. When I learned to show no emotion, apparently he knocked me clean unconscious. Good memories: none.

I had a lot of fun friends and teachers in high school, so picking one single moment as my best memory is hard. I'd have to say my best memory is when I first kissed the girl I'm still dating today. I was a junior and she was a freshman and we were in marching band together. Then one night, she added me on Facebook and I decided to talk to her. We talked for hours every night and were inseparable while in class. One Saturday night after a competition, we were talking by my jeep in the parking lot (parking spot A01) and I just leaned down and kissed her and in my mind, that moment lasted forever. We've had rough patches, but it's now been 3 years since that day and we're still together. To extend to this memory, I now put a certain amount of my paycheck into my savings in hopes that I can afford to buy a ring and propose after she graduates high school this year.

My worst memory isn't all that bad considering I got a lot of laughs out of it. In Biology class my sophomore year, we were watching a video about cell stimulation being used to cause human tissue to regrow and regrow organs or even small portions of body parts. I'm not sure if it was the lack of sleep from not sleeping the night before, or the low blood sugar as I hadn't eaten the day before, or the nausea that the video was causing me, but I passed out and after being out for about 2 mins, the girl beside checked to see if I was asleep and I hit the floor. I was on the floor for another minute before I came to and then I got back in my chair and everybody was pale faced and staring at me. They took me down to the nurse and she told me to go home and drink water and eat. My brother picked me up and took me home. I was at school for 20 mins. After I got home, I had a nutri-grain bar and then played basketball with my brother for the rest of the day. When I got back to school, nobody would sit near me and when somebody did, I would fake passing out and fall on them and they would freak out. I had a lot of fun doing that for the couple of months.

I was told you never forget your school memories. I don't think I will ever forget these. Or outgrow them.
Edit: no one truly knows how it feels to be bullied until you were as low as me, I couldn't go lower. I was at the level of fearing for my life and would not go anywhere with out a knife. I was that low.

Someone had a good school experience. Must be nice.

Guess I could say I'm still making memories atm.
Best memory: I'd say almost everyday this year because I sit next to the girl I'm almost in a relationship. :D

Worst memory: Easily would go to the day I was prepared to hang myself in the bathroom stall. D:

Best? Well, I had this girlfriend for 2 years throughout high school and we were pretty serious. Sometimes, we would go to a couple hidden staircases and.. well..

Worst? ... alot... the worst was probably when me and that girl broke up my senior year.

Really?? I was in 1st grade at the time, and the teacher went to the library to wheel in the big bulky TV and we watched the 2nd plane hit the towers live on TV.

That was a crazy experience. I'll never forget it.

I don't remember my first kiss.. it was in pre-school, the daycare my mom use to work at, and still works at (they moved locations though)... the staff there thought it was the cutest thing.. apparently. I don't remember, so idk.

Really? I'm sorry to hear that. Luckily for me, I was never picked on throughout my entire childhood, so I don't really know what it's like. We had a couple of bullies in our school, but those bullies are the kids me and my buddies would "bully" so to speak. I was never able to stand bullies and people that would pick on people that are "weaker", or people they knew would be easy for them. We dropped a few, and we made it extremely clear as to why we had a problem with them.. I think I had such an issue with bullies because of TKD. Our instructors would train us how to "deal with bullies" and it stuck in my mind. I stood up for quite a few kids during my time in high school. I think part of the reason for this though is because I had major anger issues growing up, and I would always confront or "get in the face of" anyone that said something I didn't like. I was in a lot of fights.. I mean.. a lottttt of fights. So many that I eventually got expelled my senior year for this exact reason (of blowing up on people and screaming in their face until they turned blue, or tried to swing, which at the time I always hoped for) .. Urbandale High School was a reallllly lenient school. So lenient, there were 2 kids that were punks (they weren't bullies though) that I was cool with since 5th grade, one of which has died due to a drug overdose, but both of them have punched one of the principals dead in the face. The one that's still alive punched the main principal, the other one punched the associate principal... neither one of them got expelled... pfft.. In all of their history dating back to the 1950's they've only had 8-10 people get expelled... unfortunately I was one of them.. I regret it now, but when I think of how everyone at the school knew who I was, literally everyone, it tends to boost my ego a bit :) .. or so it did... That was a couple years ago though.
