Any Deer Hunters??

[DaedalusReborn]

Hey, new to the group and was wondering if we had hunters and how many? I have been a deer hunter since around 10 years old. Got my first when I was 13 and never turned back. Got a 21pt buck in 2009 that has gone into Boone and Crockett, Hoosier Record Book, and Long Hunter. Got a new bow on 10/2/2014 and shot a nice 10pt on 10/3/2014.

Love to hear hunting stories so please share.

Not since I was a teen but all my family were so they started taking me when I was like 9-ish. Then I grew up and moved to the city. lol

I shoot Turkey every Thanksgiving... Does that count? Lol.

I'm actually going hunting this weekend. I got a nice 7 pointer 2 years ago and did not hunt last year...still had meat in the freezer.

Glad to see fellow hunters. I hunted squirrels and deer but now only hunt deer. Also love to fish. Mostly night fishing because I am lazy as all get out.

Yea I'm a huge fisherman. I love going to catch Sea Bass on my family's boat. I also catch dungeoness crabs by cage and dive for abalone, when it's the proper seasons of course.

College student by day, fisherman at night haha.

I'm not a Deer Hunter. But you're never to old to start right?
Got a good old .22 in a closet that I never use.

And also a Crossbow.

Just waiting on my father or my friend and his father to take me.

.22 isn't legal to hunt deer with in any state that I know of. Cross bow would work though lol. I hunt with Muzzleloader, 460 SW and Bow/Arrow. Just got my second deer of the year on Saturday with my bow.
