Do you take time out of your gaming and day to teach new people and help them? I do at times, tonight for instance...I took the time out to help a new person to the Community that had questions..So Welcome Scientisto.. She had not had the opportunity to ask her questions while in the game with soo many talking at once.. So I took the time to show her how to seek cover .. and am thinking it a good idea that in the future new people to FPS gaming genre have a peer group to look up to for help..teaching them how to use their weapons? What it means to work with a squad to best take advantage of their game style and play? What's your thoughts?

As A New Player To BF4, It's Really Hard For Me To Run Along With Everyone, Cuz I Dont Have Good Weapons Or Dont Know The Maps Or Where To Run Most Of The Time.. And That's Why I Feel Like I Really Suck Badly At This Game All The Time..
So I Wanna Thank Servinehunters For Helping Me While Playing In The First Place And Then Sparing Some Of His Own Time To Show Me Some Stuff..
I Actually Took His Playing Kit Time to Time In The Game And Died With It Instantly!! Which Was Kinda Funny :D
But I Think New Players Would Appreciate To Be A Part Of A Group.. And Playing With Better Players..
I Know That I Did..
Cuz That's Why I Came Here In The First Place..
So Thanx For Having Me Here..
And Thanx For Playing With Me Even Tho I Suck :D

welcome to eGO and the battlefield division. hope youll enjoy your time with us.

as for teaching new ppl: its a great thing to do and i believe most of us do more or less. the best step for our new members is to jump on teamspeak and get to know everyone. while we are playing we are also in the same ts channel so whenever questions come up they can be answered right away. probably dont have to mention that we are in squads too while playing. so its more of an indirect way of teaching for me i guess :P

also dont hesitate to jump into any of the battlefield channels on ts. we dont always hang out in the right/same rooms.

Yeah I do. Not recently, but whenever someone has questions or needs help figuring things out I do. It's kind of expected out of all PSC members to help new players.

Maybe you should apply for the PSC?

Nah ,.. Don't know enough of all the parts of the game like some.. Some people know chapter and verse which weapons and kits are the best via statistics etc..The posed question above.. was simply the concept of seeing new people given time.. Not just members doing there own thing kind of a conundrum. It was posed to see whom had thoughts on best ways to approach teaching new people everything from tactics to basic in-game common sense, Basic combat skills, and how best to optimize their systems to play.. Myself I remain blissfully ignorant of all the statistics and best new PC parts etc etc.. Doh yeppers I am a straight plug and play type.. I don't keep up to speed on new pc parts to programs..Was hopeful to see people posting their best tricks and tips here for new people about in-game ..

Oh, didn't read the last part where you meant weapons and gameplay.

First half sounded like helping new =(e)= members get adjusted with the community :D :chair:

Scientisto if we are ever on the same team while Servine is in the opposite team, I will show you all his favorite spot muhahhaha

Muahahaha yes I do have favorite spots.. and switch up at times to best help the team as i can..Best part is to see people come around a corner expecting you there.. and ya already moved to get them.. So new things I will be doing is working on weapons and explosives i never used much.. Mortar , c-4 etc.. and see what takes place.. and Egg most assuredly do take time to teach her of how to best use her kits and where to fire from.. I am hopeful we can do some training times in an empty server to teach people game tactics and best positions to fire from.. How to use and stay focused on the mini map ..and attentions to details like foot steps in next room etc..How to best deploy their Kit's specialty weapons and explosives .. How to control enemy via choke points.. area of effect weapons and suppression weapons best usages

EggTofu Thanx :D
I Think I Know Some Of His Favourite Spots While Playing With Him :D Cuz I Did Try To Understand What Is He Doing All The Time :D And It's Getting A Little Excited In The Game I Might Forget And Pretty Much Run Into There :D That's Another Thing I Need To Fix..

Welcome, Scientisto! Good to have you onboard here at eGO. See you on the Battlefield!!

I think it's a great idea......and tofu can show you how to team kill with a 4 wheeler on lockers :) :chair:

Maybe Servine should head up something like this, I know that I'd be interested in being involved with something like this, along with other aspects of eGO. Just not sure where I could fit in as of yet.....lol

Also, Welcome to eGO Scientisto!

Welcome scientisto

Allow me to share with you a tip that will dramaticly better your game

ALWAYS stick with your team mates, never run lonewolf, if you do you're almost certain to end up facing packs of enemies who will kill you in a second, but if you hold the pace of your team and move along with them instead of rushing into certain death you will have a much better game

So what he's saying, and most of us night shift guys can attest to, don't follow me unless you plan to die...

I like to rush in spraying and praying on lockers to get a layout of what lies ahead, and find ways to eliminate them...I guess one could almost call me a sacrificial lamb...hahaha

Actually I am A Bit Like That Too Unfortunately.. I Get Bored Of Staying At One Place For Too Long Especially If That Place Is Locked Up Which Happens A Lot In The Locker.. Then I Get Bored And Get Out To Have Some Fresh Air Where They Always Kill Me As Xitreon Says :D
