cause everyone knows i do and have came close to getting trouble for it few times

how many people like or love country music like me other than soupy cause he's always my karaoke night singing partner

i seriously want know how many people like country whether old or new country and if ya do share some of your favorite artist and videos please

kudos if you like bluegrass and contemporary christian music too

btw if anything making fun of insulting or any other music will automatically be deleted
no saying i don't appreciate other types but myself like wholesome clean easy listening music

I dont know if this count as country music but, i have artists like Rascal Flatts and Keith Urban.

Old country is the best country, I'm talking 1930s-1940s country. Bluegrass is alright, but I can't stand the new country stuff, just not my cup of tea.

I listen to heavy metal.
That being said, I do have a lot of friends who listen to country, so I tolerate it.
i find myself youtubing "Bottoms Up" by Brantley Gilbert as it gets stuck in my head.

However, I have no patience for Toby Keith and his cup song.

I like my country like I like my Swiss...yodeling

i did say any negative talk of country would be deleted didn't I

i just wish everyone would broaden there horizons some and quite giving the ol'

"when you listen to country backwards you get your dog back, truck back, wife back, house back, and sober up" stereotype that everyone gives country a bad name literally

and icy ya i love old 30's 40's 50's and 60's country too but also some of the newer stuff

really to be honest i like most all country very like i don't like other than ya that stupid Toby Keith "Red Solo Cup" song

I prefer older country and 90s-era country. I don't care much for most of what comes out today but that goes for most genres and not just country. lol

I like a lot of the 90s country-pop type singers too like Pam Tillis, Trisha Yearwood, Martina McBride, Deana Carter, Mindy McCready (RIP) and of course, the classic Reba McEntire.

That wasn't a negative statement. The only country I really ever got into was super old country like Jimmie Rodgers...who actually yodeled in his songs...like it was his trademark. Yodeling became a mainstay of country music for decades after Rodgers died...so yeah.

and ya sorry i apologize and ya i like Jimmie Rodgers too but hadn't heard him in ages lol

I like all types of music, but it just has to be right for me. I like country, old and new, some blues here and there, old rock n roll, etc. I don't like screamo-metal, but there are some songs from a few bands that do that, that I like.

Honestly, I can't stand what passes as "country" on the radio these days. However, I mainly love older country such as Hank Williams and Johnny Cash.

Hank Williams Sr., Marty Robbins, Mel Tillis, Johnny Cash, Alabama, Oakridge Boys, John Denver, George Jones, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard, Dolly Parton, Reba

Screamo isn't a genre, it's a generalization made by people who can't use genres. Not to sound rude at all. Metal has many sub-genres, typically, 80% of people most likely uses screaming, growling, squealing, or perhaps yelling.

These statistics are most likely wrong, but I'll leave them to Ric to correct.

It's okay. My mother used to listen to it a lot when I was a kid (Toby Keith, Rascal Flatts and Keith Urban being the top 3), so I heard my fair share. It used to be my music of choice until I got introduced to rock (and then later to everything electronic).

I'm not a huge fan anymore, but I don't hate it.
