Halloween Updates from the FFTF!

Straight from the FFTF team we have a host of new changes and information we'd like to share with the division. Starting off...

What is the FFTF?

The FFTF in case you're unfamiliar with it, is the Fast Fill Task Force, and with the assistance of captains and dedicated members in our steam group we fill our servers in accordance with rankings, in hopes of keeping all our servers off the chopping block and maybe getting new ones! Our current roster:

But Gerbil... how do I fill with yourself and the [strike]godly captains[/strike] rest of the FFTF?

1. If you're not in it already, join the FFTF steam group!
2. If you see an announcement go out, join the server.
3. Play! Invite some friends, if you can help it don't tryhard.
4. Wash, rinse, and repeat. That's all there is to filling
5. (For extra credit) Seed our servers! During the morning or night out servers love seeding.

The steam group is now unlocked to the public, feel free to encourage friends, pubs, es, or anyone who doesn't mind some announcements and filling servers!

Halloween server changes!

As many of you know Egypt was recently turned into Helltower. Last year the Halloween update helped our servers tremendously and hopefully it will do the same this year.

And as a reminder, even though Helltower has being doing well our other servers are still high priority for the FFTF.

Can I be a captain?

Sure!

FFTF captains are active admins of the division as well as fast fillers, they coordinate fills and take notes. They also send out announcements and invites to help fill our servers all out of the kindness of their heart and love for our servers. We do have 1-2 open spots on the team currently.

If you're interested in being a captain you must
-be the rank of eG for at least one month or be eGO rank
-in TF2 division
-have your BAT award
-be willing to learn
-read private forums here and there
-be willing to attend a meeting every month or two
-be in the FFTF steam group

If you're willing to do the above and meet the requirements, send a forum PM to Gerbil and answer these questions:

Why do you want to be a captain?
What can you add to the FFTF?
Why should we make you a captain?
Do you check the forums often?
Are you consistently active?
What times can you fill and how often (morning, evening, afternoon?)?
Favourite server?
Any prior experience?
The most important part about filling?
