a new probleme

so i loaded DoD and played for about 5 mins when it shut down and said" internal driver error IDirect3DDevice9:resent?

i googled it but there are alot of sollutions that i cant try i thought i'd get some advice from you guys

first thing comes to mind with me is A does your card support direct3d [most do] and B do you have the most recent version of the drivers

i take it you have had dod installed and played with no issue befor now

can you think of anything you changed hardware or driver wise since then?
config changes?

also check your direct x

start>run>dxdiag and run a scan it will tell you if its having a problem

What I would do in your case since you seem to be running into alot of software/driver/hardware issues.

Update EVERYTHING

Starting from Motherboard bios
Video Card bios
any Add on card bios (audio? WiFi? etc..)

Then hunt down newest drivers starting with:

Motherboard
Video Card
add-ons.

Use Driver Cleaner also found on Guru3d, to make sure its really clean.

also thought he does make a good point did you recently install new hardware or something to start all of these problems or did they all start with the updates?

how do i find the kind of motherboard i have?


i should say all these problemes happend after i got my new graphics card.... before my games all played fine then when i installed the new graphics card after about 2 weeks these problemes started happening

Have you downloaded the drivers correctly or gotten the right drivers? well also try just making sure all connections between your gpu and the mobo are secure and everything is plugged in....but then again not sure...

Hey Mr. Vote for Pedro....

check out the instructions I posted for cleaning out video drivers, try that first, to make sure your driver install is solid and clean.
