Some use IP Spoofers but by looking them up by name under pbbans can find all their details. As far as pings go if a player has a high ping but no latency then they dont really seem to be lagging. They often do not affect game play. There are many reasons for game or service lag. It could be bad weather, faulty lines, poor connections, software and hardware updates, outdated drivers, of those on wireless and satellite connections. If you are lagging or the server seems to lag check with others to see if they have the same problem. You can also open up your command line on your computer and do a tracert to the server ip to see if there are any areas where your lagging. Also about the negative ping we have noticed that players on tablets will also show a negative ping especially as commanders.
