TF2 Highlander Interest Meeting 11-15-14

This weekend on Saturday, we will be holding the meeting for those interested in Highlander. We will also gauge how many people we will have and how to do tryouts from there. I honestly can't give very many details right now for the meeting, but I should have a good agenda by Friday to update this post with. So far we will be going over things such as what is highlander, the weapon lists, class roles for highlander, maps, and any general questions anyone may have for highlander. We would be looking to take this team into the UGC S15 Highlander league in either Iron or Steel, depending on the skill level as a team overall that we will end up with. If this gains enough interest, and we have a good number of people who continue to stay dedicated and practice, we should have a roster post up by the end of the year.

Now to get into some finer details beforehand... Here are our current rules to sign-off with when you would become a member of the competitive team, pulled straight from the competitive team subforum, with the new addition of rule number 5. Chances are if you especially cannot adhere to rule 5, this isn't for you. Please keep all of these in mind going into the HL meeting as you are there.

1: I understand that I am a member of a team and that I will not ridicule, insult, or disrespect my teammates when I should excel and when they should fail. Additionally, I shall expect a mutual respect from my teammates and leaders and should not expect criticism that is beyond a constructive nature.

2: I am a member of eGO first and of the competitive team second. I will maintain an attitude befitting of an eGO admin at all times.

3: I am not above members of eGO that are not on the team. My attitude will be humble and I will not brag about or draw unnecessary attention to the fact that I am a member of the competitive team.

4: I will participate in Events, forum conversation, and ventrilo in the TF2 Division. I will maintain my standing in the community and stay current with the state of the division for which I represent competitively.
Failure to adhere to any of the preceding statements may result in your suspension or ejection from the Competitive Team. Failure to observe eGO rules may result in your ejection from the community entirely.

5. I will dedicate the time I need to to the team in attempt to better myself as an individual, and the team as a whole. If I have any problems with scheduling or making a practice, I will let the leader know before hand. Failure to dedicate time and be willing to play numerous times WILL result in ejection from the competitive team/starting position.

You guys need a spy? I can spy decently if I can get team members to charge the nest when I sap! Been know to get some decent picks when they are needed.

I would like to join my classes I excel at is scout Loch demo medic and pyro when Im being healed. side note I also work on this day tobad It could not be on the 14th. as scout I make a person rage and aim for me and I target who ever you want me to get it will be hard but I can try to get medic for sure I can get heavies soldiers demo and other classes cept spy and pyro, pyro is harder for me to get but Ill try. and spies are always hiding. medic I heal every one while I pocket the strong ones. demo I am really good with loch N load. I am good with pyro when I am being healed some times I can ambush peeps.
