Ok ladies,

For those of you who don't know our CSGO competitive team went 5-3 in the regular season and 2-2 in playoffs last season of cevo. We are almost to posiitive that we will make the switch to esea for the better practice and better competition.

Our current roster:

Spark
Suay
Bay Area
Kenny

We are in the try out phase looking for a 5th. And currently have a few players in mind. But if you think you have what it takes, you can pm me - just note there is a big skill gap for most players.

The real reason I made this thread is to get a general idea from what the Cs division would like to see from the comp team. First thing, would you like to see comp tutorials back? Would you like to see comp videos (tips, frag vids, etc)? What other questions or concerns do you have. What problems do you have? I want to know your opinions. You can be as blunt as you possibly can, I just want to know how you feel. If you don't want to post here you can always pm me. Hopefully I get a good turnout in this thread so I can attempt to make the comp team better as a whole.

This was written on my phone during my first period, so hopefully it looks good

I think it would be amazing if the comp team would give back to the community and division. Comp tutorials, comp videos, tips, tricks, how to get warm up, how to hone your skills, configs, setups.

Can the comp matches be put up ahead of time on the eGO calendar or maybe on a Steam group? I'd love to plan on watching matches (especially if there is commentary), but feel like I find out a bit too late. (I have to plan ahead).

I get there is a big skill gap, but how many levels are there, as far as skill goes, for leagues? I find the concept of a competitive league very cool, but know I'm know I'm not the best player. I'd love to practice and play as a team in a league, though, with people of a similar skill level.

Thanks for the response!

The only I can explain the 'skill-gap' is by MM rank, although mm rank isn't very accurate:

Cevo Open/free:
Anywhere from Novas to dmgs+. Depends on who is playing. The average is around DMG though.

Cevo IM / Esea O: Again there may be outliers but it can be anywhere around DMG-SMFC+ The average is around LE though.

Anything above that the average is around LEM-Global elite.

Ill see what I can do about doing comp tutorials - wasn't really recognized by the community/event coordinators as an actual "event" so idk how well that will go. Possibly personal lessons may be better? I can also talk to the media team and set up something - Ill update you guys if anything happens.

Too many acronyms. I'll have to look those up later. Where is the Silver Elite Master league :)

If they could post news items for league matches, why not putting them on the event calendar? Especially if there are sponsors (more traffic is good, yes?). But a Steam group might work but the event popups are spotty at best.

I don't know a whole lot about the comp team, let's talk in TeamSpeak sometime!
I'd personally like to see the comp team on eGO's front page! I think videos would be pretty awesome as well, so if they could help me get about a Silver IV rank, I'd be happy.

Put me in coach

Also, I enjoyed the comp tutorials and would love to see them back.
