Anyone in Edge Gamers planning on getting this tomorrow? If post your add info so i can add you all. Also, if anyone is feeling generous enough to help me get a few Pokemon for my team to start the game with, please let me know, my Pokemon Y got stolen so my team is gone :(

If anyone is interested in helping me rebuild my team, the following are what im looking for.

Houndou
Dratini
Raltz (male)
Rotom
Flobe
Mudkip (will be starter)

I've been out of the Pok?mon loop for the past generation or so, but nostalgia told me to get Alpha Sapphire for myself, since my first Pok?mon game ever was Sapphire.

Plus, there's that whole thing that my brother preordered it for my birthday, so I have an obligation to play it.

If anything, replace houndour with Mawile or Dusknoir or something.

Houndour/Houndoom are weak to fighting, rock, ground, and water. Ground, fighting, and water are pretty common move types. Stats revolve around Sp. Attack with the only real choices as flamethrower, inferno, and dark pulse. But why get a move with 50% chance to hit and only 5 more power than flamethrower. They also don't get flamethrower until really late via leveling.

Mawile is weak to fire and ground. Yeah they are common, but it's to worry about. Resistant to poison and dragon. Stats focus on Attack and with STAB on play rough and iron head, it's always a solid and safe chase because you get those early. Can also throw in strength for of the high attack stat.

As for dratini, I would go with Salamance tbh. Similar base stats, same type pros/cons, but stronger and faster. You get a little defense/sp, def, but in the long run the speed and attack/sp. attack STABs are going to come out on top.

Not sure how serious you are when it comes to building teams or if it's simply cool pokemon, but you might want to consider Gardevoir over Gallade because you don't really have sp. attack damage. Gallade is also kind of sale for being a physical sweep-type pokemon :/ OR solve all problems and get Alakazam :D

Just my opinion. Also, what is flobe?

Thank you for the advice but houndoom and dragonknight are just my two fav pokemon. My team is built of my favorites and since I dont plan on playing at all competitivly, my team will remain the same. Thank you for the advice again though. And flobe is the grass/fairy from x and y. Shes optional as I just needed the type coverage.

Not sure what world you're from, but we call her Flab?b?/Floette/Flogres. Anyway, yeah grass types have always been kind of low end outside of starters in my opinion. You might want to look at Breloom/Tropius for type coverage. I haven't really looked into the available pokemon (if there were many changes), but maybe Victreebel. Sludge bomb and leaf storm would be super scary in fights!
