Need help really bad here for DOD

It seems in that in the last week, something has happened to the EGO servers, mainly avalanche, it seem my ping has gone up to 300 plus, making it almost impossible to play the game, it does not do it on other servers, but for a week now the game is all choppy and pinging very high, was there some type of work done on the servers, have they moved, my ping starts out at 70 then as soon as I get playing it rockets to 350 ping, making impossible to play, been playing on ego server for a long time and this just happened with in the last week, would really appreciate any solutions as to why this is happening.

I had it happen to me yesterday. I restarted my internet and did a security scan and went back on and had 40 ping again. If you haven't tried that do that but everything else has stayed the same. Hopefully this will help.

I have a steady 50 ping always on AVA. Sometimes though ill get spikes to 300-700 Ping. You aren't alone.

well I did reboot the modem and it dropped the ping down to 60 and I played for a bit, but then came back and 8 hours later, bam same thing, this time it shot up to 700 ping, im calling att cause I have a 18 mps download and my speed test is at 15 mps, plus its only doing it on the EGO servers, so it has to be some type of problem happening with the connection from my computer to ego servers or vice versa, dammit if I have to I will reformat and reinstall everything, if that does not fix it then I know its on egos end, so frustrating not being able to play my favorite game. will post back if it gets fixed, but before I go and wipe everything off my computer, would be nice to see if maybe this is coming from ego servers end and if they can fix it.

You're not the only one with this problem, so Im 99% sure its not on your end, so dont wipe your hard drive (Though I do appreciate the dedication to our servers quite a bit <3). I believe the main reason (Dont quote me on this, Im not an IT expert) is because we have multiple servers on our boxes (Including, unfortunately, BF4 which takes up quite a bit) and I believe our higher ups are trying to fix the issue.

This usually happens when one of the main lines is under maintenance or under heavy use and it's trying to direct the flow to another main line. It's most likely their side and it could take a week or two to fix the issue. I had this issue a while back. Only thing you can honestly do is wait.

I too had the same thing. I did a trace route, and found the problem was when my signal left LA for Dallas. There was a bottleneck there for some reason. I havent noticed it in a while, but try to be patient. Good luck!

Although the first location was different for me (Denver to Dallas), same situation here. Haven't seen it happen in awhile though, just the usual client-side spikes now.
