As we all know, Dreamhack has been in some hot water regarding cheaters and bad calls by admins.

What are your thoughts on the events? Remember to be civil.

Kinda already being discussed in this topic, page 3 onwards: http://www.edge-gamers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=275947

but really none of it matters now. They got a lot of hate and decided to forfeit for LDLC
"Fnatic has given an official forfeit in the match against LDLC. LDLC is playing the semi final against Na’Vi at 16:30 CET" to me that should be the end of it, be more strict on the rules for big events and that wont happen.

Amen to that. Valve needs to treat CS:GO like they treat Dota 2. They need to handle the competitions with a set rulebook that's strict, clear, and consistent across every tournament.

Full props to LDLC. They played that game fair and square and are the real winners of DHW 2014.

Fnatic- We have a lot of respect towards the community and other teams & so we have decided to withdraw from the tournament.

lol

Flusha's "aimlock" (aimbot that's having problems realising there's a wall in the way and the player isn't close to his crosshair/within a certain FOV I think) is beyond blatent, especially with the frequency of it happening. Good call on Fnatic forfeiting though, saved a little bit of respect

Honestly, all this flusha talk is really annoying. It's everywhere on HLTV and Reddit. Everyone can look through all his matches and find gifs of him doing suspicious things, but until he actually gets VAC banned he will continue playing with Fnatic.

Dreamhack is turning into NFC West

oh and dat profile pic tho

He would've got banned before dreamhack if he was hacking imo, but we will see after the event.

Of course they'd forfeit lol. It's the best move for them.

If they played and won, people would be like "Wtf? It was 12-3, LDLC should have won, not these cheaters."

If they played and lost, people would be like, "Wow look how badly they suck, they couldn't win without exploiting. Fnatic is trash!"

Anyways Fnatic lost a lot of respect from people and me (If I ever had any for them). It was a scumbag move, but at least they forfeit the match.

There was no way he cheated at this tournament. Valve made sure of it. I'm not saying he toggled before, but it wasn't here.

Apparently people close the the tournament said they weren't checking any usb devices such as keyboards and mouse. Technically you could install it into those but it'd be some 007 stuff.

swag had to change his mouse.. they didnt allow him to use it

OLOFPASS OLOFPASS.

That interview made me angry. I also doubt the team(Players themselves) decided to forfeit but I'm glad it happened nonetheless.

I didn't hear that. I wonder what precautions they took for this "issue" because you def. saw on the stream that players were quick to put their keyboard/mouse back in the bags so it's possible. It'd be easy to do like a "check in" for keyboards/mouse where they plug it into a computer and scan it and then say yay or nay. Idk though it all seems like graping for something.

They also took away cell phones from the players and made them send in their configs ahead of time. There were many safety precautions to make this a hack-free major.

They are doing a lot to try and prevent things. I just hope it is enough.

If you payed attention to when they put the camera on the players you can see the admins sitting behind them. I mean I guess its possible, but really unlikely.

oh, and olof's boost on dust 2
