Holiday FFTF Extravaganza!

It's that time of the year again. As we bring out the firewood and space heaters,
gamers from all over eGO are banding together from camaraderie and a distinct
lack of schooling. What better time to fill servers with your friends?

As the FFTF gets snowed-in this winter, we all invite you to join us for our first
annual Holiday FFTF Extravaganza!

All you have to do is attend regular FFTF fills from 12/1/14-12/31/14,
and you'll be entered to win some INSANE prizes!
By the first of the new year (1/1/15), our FFTF captains will count up all of our
fill attendance forms and pick three winners to receive some of the
biggest prizes eGO has seen to date:


5 fills - Holiday Server-hopper:
For supporting our servers through a minimum of five official FFTF fills,
you automatically receive our thanks in the form of an FFTF Challenge Winner
forum achievement (cue *oohs* and *ahhs*)!

3rd place - FFTF MVP:
For going out of your way to support our servers, you are awarded one pair of
Earbuds and the love/burning-jealousy of other fillers around the world.
Note: They do not actually work IRL. However, they cost much,
much more than their physical counterparts.


2nd place - FFTF's Little Helper:
Why spend time with your boring family around the fireplace this holiday season
when you can be wasting away hours with your exciting online friends?
This is a philosophy you are quite familiar with, through practice more than anything.
For your outstanding devotion to the well-being of eGO's TF2 servers,
we would like to give you an Unusual Company Man (Effect: Steaming),
an all-class unusual befitting any occasion with which you can make all
your friends envious. Jelly? You should be.


1st place - FFTF's Emperor/Empress/Super-booper/Mge champ:
The long title says it all. The winner of this prize has spent the last month keeping
our servers chugging along throughout the holiday season. Time and again
they will show up to FFTF fills with a deadly weapon and a glint in their eye.
You are a gift to our servers, oh great one - so we award you a real Max's Head.
From now on when you show up to fill, other FFTF members will silently bow
their heads, for you will have a rabbit's severed head on yours. Have you read the
latest Vogue? It's in season (pun intended). We salute you.

No FFTF captains currently have access to making/editing TS3 rooms at the moment. In addition, the likelihood of Leadership members being around for each and every fill is pretty low.

If you sign up for the FFTF Steam Group, you will get announcements every time a fill is taking place. In addition, we always post an announcement in Global Leadership - just in case you've missed the Steam Group announcement! That's the most consistent thing the FFTF captains can do at the moment.

I wasn't really saying they should advertise fills more, but whenever I see a Captain on TS, I usually tink that they're filling and go help, unless I can't at the moment.
As for reserving a room specifically for fills, I hadn't really thought of that, but that would be pretty helpful, even if it's only while the event is going on.
