In Game Spoken Audio Too Low

I was playing on one of the TF2 servers here, and I joined (after about 15 min of waiting for a spot) and start playing. I start to notice that people are speaking, but I cannot hear them. This is after a good few hour session with all-chat on a few weeks ago. Nothing has changed in the setting. I have no idea what happened. How can I start hearing the voices again?

Seriously though, are you using a USB headset, or just regular speakers?

There's an option in settings for TF2 that changes the voice receive volume. Check that you haven't muted that or something.

I have a headset that plugs into both the headphone and mic jack, and I'm sure its not muting, but I will check later today when I get home just to make sure.

in your options turn voice volume up and game volume down adjust speakers/headset to compensate my headset was a bit low till i did this

if you find your only not hearing some people it could just be thier mic

Ok, I played yesterday, and the audio was perfect, but I did not change any setting in between playing this time and last time. Might have just been a glitch or something.
