Tech Help New Gaming PC

CDROM no preference, that last build you posted Matt looks great. A little over budget but heck thats half the fun is going over.

I understand cloaked what you meant and appologize for poorly explaining i just recently bought an r9 270x radeon and it reffered to it with the ATI labling still even though your correct its suppose to be AMD. I miss took that for the norm and thought AMD kept the ATI name for the videocard part.

ALSO sir sry bout that bit over the main reason was the 990 chipset is better for Vishera core as its the newer amd chipset. The down side to AMD over INTEL / i5 boards is most if not all amd boards still use pci express 2.0. Intel boards have PCI 3.0. This will make Newer cards that use pci3.0 ( not the current from what i read) will take advantage of 3.0 boards and get better fps. For you if your planning to upgrade a VID card down the road on the PC an INTEL i5 build may be better.

I have always just had AMD, by all means if INTEL has better options/upgradeablility then I would have no problem going with an INTEL build.

Sure lets meet up sometime this week so we can talk bout it to get exactly whats best for you that AMD build is not a bad one at all however I am fairly s ure for similiar price we could make an i5 build that would compete against it plus offer pci3.0 which is better for future cards.
