good god this is a bad update

remember a year and a half ago when this update was supposed to feature a new map and new weapons?

all we got is ducks that do literally nothing, a melee reskin, and a new taunt.

there are so many things wrong here.
1. bonus ducks isn't funny when the whole entire game is now bonus ducks.
2. the map was removed because it was "too complicated"
I guess asteroid, steel, and hydro are all very simple maps.
3. you can pay $5.00 for literally nothing.
4. a new melee reskin. just what we always needed.

Yeah, this update was a let down considering how much hype there was. I do love the SFM video though.

The update wasn't hyped, it was the movie that was hyped by Mcvee. People just took on the few mentions of weapons and latched on to them. As for the map, I was under the impression it wasn't well received, so they needed to do more work for it. Either that or they could release an unfinished map.

Well then, I guess it is a good thing I had no idea about this EOTL update until it broke today -- no high hopes to let down. I'll probably just end up logging on the Dustbowl server and pub stomping anyway...

The map would've been ready in time however it was scrapped in late November as Valve thought it was too confusing for new players to grasp.
