What do some random warrior king, Marie Antoinette, and Hitler all have in common? Why they've got bit roles in holding on to our diamond before they all met unfortunate ends!

Yes, come December 16th Overkill is giving us an early Christmas gift (to buy more than likely, I believe it's one of the paid DLC) in the form of the long awaited The Diamond Heist, as well as the 7th heister Clover!

Day 1 of The Diamond's info and we're getting a peek at the National Gallery where all that fun run/gun/shooty time will take place.

From the looks of the pictures, it's an optional stealth heist, complete with the classic "cut a circle into the glass case and loot the stuff inside" playbook page from the movies. The heist itself will be $7, and for whatever reason Clover isn't actually a part of the pack...? She's got a price tag on her of $5, but as of now we know nothing about what's included in that heist pack. For all we know it could be $5 for just Clover, or $7 for The Diamond heist and Clover in one purchase.

Ah well, Day 2 tomorrow, and I can finally keep my chin warm with my brand new Almir beard!

Ach, toodah we tallk Cloover heerseelf.

Specifically how she and Hoxton are pretty much a pair back in Ireland. Well, a pair of Sith Lord and Apprentice...

Seriously, the only difference is choice in wardrobe and a distinct lacking of lightsabers. Anyway, Clover's not just a new character in the skin/voice sense, she comes with her on perk deck (and likely skill tree too) as well as her own rifle and her trusty shalalie.

Launch day hits as we get the last Day out, revealing the 4 new masks (Medusa, Anubis, The Cursed One, and Pazuzu), patterns, and materials.

Also being introduced is something pretty awesome: The Multi Skill Build. Basically think a skill profile which you can create and then freely (outside of a heist obviously) switch between up to 5. Pretty nice, but I've discovered the akimbo dodge build I'm using is extremely talented in even DW.

Also up is something a little irritating: Payday 2 bundles featuring the DLC in one pack. Want all the weapon DLC? Why snap up the Weapon Pack Collection! Heists got you under their thumb and you want practice? Heist Collection for you! And then of course there's the GOTY edition with every piece of DLC. The reason it might be a little irritating? You can only get these 3 masks if you own the DLC, something that's going to get the dander up of many a Steam forum poster. Of course you don't have to buy the bundles to get them, if you own all the DLC in a specific category you automatically unlock that category's mask.

So if you either buy or already own all the heist DLC, you automatically unlock The Nun mask. All weapon DLC or bundle? Well you get the Robo-Arnold mask! All DLC for the game or the GOTY pack? Why here's an awesome looking Arch Nemesis mask for you!

They also added a little "hidden" achievement for the Hox Breakout heist too. Waaaaay down the list of them is "Tabula Rasa", where you and your entire team have to do the heist on Overkill or above, wearing nothing but the 2 piece suit, using only the Golden AK and Typewriter (grenades and melee seem to be OK), with absolutely no skill points allocated (which is easy now thanks to the free second spec everyone automatically gets).

It's not incredibly hard, just relies on your entire team's skill quite heavily. And some RNG as to when/where dozers spawn on day 1. No medkits or anything keeps the pace pretty frantic. Day 2's pretty easy though if you dupe cards to pop open the armory and med room though.

Did it finally in a pug tonight.
