Hello chaps, me again.

Just wondering, in regards to my earlier thread about 'Donations welcome' which put over the idea of anyone who has anything spare in their inventory- to consider a little donation.

I am a rather annoyed, and to say the least, disappointed in the conduct shown towards this simple, inquisitive and open thread in our division. It was 'closed' without any PM to myself, to notify myself. Not even a reply to the initial thread about why/who/when it was closed off.

I would prefer a concise and direct reason for why it was closed. And in all frankness, and honesty, if you; Dr Compton, are responsible. Then I can understand. :O

Expect me to be very frank and open about my opinions and views on matters chaps.​
 
Tbh dude, it's a bit beggy and nothing to do with DoD:s. If you wanna message people and ask them sure, but if everyone starts making threads asking for random stuff then these forums turn boring, pointless and irrelevant.

It's pretty nice of them not to just delete it outright.
 
Why would Compton be in charge of it? The reason it was probably closed is because usually threads asking for "donations" is frowned upon throughout the organization, and it receives negative feedback. Don't get all bent out of shape, leadership is just doing their job.
 
If I had to venture a guess as to why it was locked..simply put, it'd have to be because it didn't really have anything to do with DODS..+ what Matz n Mini said.

Your best bet for this would be the Trade/Sell forum, or *possibly* the General Gaming forum, which you've already posted in..but again, these types of threads aren't really going to get you anywhere.

If you're looking for a specific card or group of cards, check your badge list and see who has one and ask them if they plan on using it.

Not in game, if you get a set of cards then you get a badge, which levels up your steam profile. You do get small rewards from Steam, but as far as I know, none of them are worth real money.

Because Mini, Nicoll clearly thinks I should be a member of leadership, and have the ability to close threads. (Heck I mean, he may think I should be a DL, Im not entirely sure which members of leadership can close threads.)

Just so you know I closed the thread. As everyone has already mentioned...it had nothing to do with DoD:S and usually threads that make it seem like you're begging will get closed. Please do not assume it's anyone except leadership next time, as we are the only ones who can edit and/or close threads.
