Metal Gear Solid Theme

[Flippy the Squirrel]

So, yes, I'm a complete nerd, but I really enjoyed listening to (and watching) this orchestra perform the theme from Metal Gear Solid 4. Now if I could only find them doing the Snake Eater theme.

Holy crap is that Tommy Tallarico? I haven't seen that guy in ages.

Ah yes, it's a great song. I should get it somehow.

I think that's actually the theme from MGS2.

If I remember correctly they implied that the main MGS theme, that gets remix by Harry Gregson Williams every game, might not be in it. Hideo could have been a little embarrassed given the plagiarism accusations.

This is a pretty good orchestrated version of the theme that has alot more MGS3 in it like the classical guitar part.

Also how do you get the embedded videos to work? I used the embedded link on youtube, but still managed to mess it up.

The trick is to remove the part of the URL after v= and put that between the [ y t ] tags. So, for the first video, you'd put _hEPpZvLCEM between the tags. Also, the X and Y dimensions work best at the YouTube default of 425 by 355, so it would be (without extra spaces):

[ y t = 4 2 5 , 3 5 5 ] _ h E P p Z v L C E M [ / y t ]

Ok, I get it now. Thanks Flippy.
