MONITOR DILEMA - Should you get a basic 4K display or gsync 144hz gaming monitor

Should you get a basic 4K display or get something that has all the bells and whistles for gamers?

Pros - 4k res
cons- 60hz?

cons - lower res

Preference is on gaming, but what do you guys think about gsync any higher refresh rates verus 4k resolution? I've seen some 4k monitors that have gsync but are only 60hz.

4k is still in its early stages, if I were you I would get higher hz monitor.

EDIT
Also bigger doesn't necessarily means better,at certain point it hinders your performance. To be able see everything going on screen without to need to turn head is a must.

This. I would wait on 4k because the prices will still only go down from where they are now. Also in my opinion 2k is starting to look more and more like HD DVD. Still good but I don't think it is worth investing into.

I am going with the g-sync. I am going to get the BenQ XL2420G 144hz G-sync monitor.
