I am going to attempt to make an honest woman out of Lupus!:P:scared::P
 
I did indeed! Time for two new R9 290x cards and a couple more ASUS 24" monitors for my gaming setup!

Another resolution is to buy myself a new car. I've got my eyes on a Mercedes S600. I have the cash in hand, I'm just waiting for the right deal. It's gonna be a great year :D
 
My New Year's resolution is to study harder. Not saying I ain't the smartest book on the shelf but I am more of a picture book, if you catch my drift. Also stop listening to Cats In The Cradle, that song is sad and catchy. Happy New Year's!
 
Over the last year I've been really lazy with my programming journey. I've always wanted to learn and get good at it,but that hasn't happened yet. I watch videos and I've tested some things, but that's not enough!

My resolution is I'm going to go full out with it and I'll start studying and testing every day! :D
 
i don't do resolutions there like promises i can't keep

i do have a few goals instead with top 3 being to wake up every day above ground and try to be a better person and treat my fellow man better than i did day before

get me a better laptop than one i currently posses

that get that all elusive "O" that has avoid me for close to a year

I read an article on Forbes that actually only 8% of people even follow their new years resolution. That isn't why I don't set one, but I would probably fall into that 92% if it wasn't something I was overly passionate about. Like being more awesome.
 
I have 1.5 years left for my Bachelors Degree, mine is to keep doing well in school and get back into shape #chunkygamer
 
which is why no offense to anyone i don't do resolutions

besides vast majority are for something most normal people will only do for a mouth or two and quit like lose weight, quit smoking, save more, get married etc etc and most don't happen like people expect or dream they should

which is why i try to set long term goals instead that way if i don't achieve right away no biggie still something i can aspire to do and if never comes truei know i at least tried
 
Why wait for New Year's to make a resolution? You wanna change something for the better, today's the best day to start... whether it's January 1 or May 14 or whatever. ;)

Let me tell you it doesn't quite work like that. Just find a project / problem you want to solve. You learn best by doing! Good luck.
 
Nope. Quit smoking back in early December, realized on new years that I should have saved the opportunity for that. Oh well.
 
My resolution is to break out of the remains of my isolationism and be a better person overall, both online and in person.
 
My resolution is to cook healthily for my wife and I. Last year, we ate too much take out. This year, I will cook for us as often as I can.
