I knew it. I was told to try replacing my eithernet cable. Also tried to play Battlefield 4 last night but had to download new drivers, etc. That REALLY slowed my computer down so I uninstalled them. It would really help if I knew computers inside and out.

Hey, Iron. I know Comcast got this straightened out for you. Just remember that high ping issues always relate to CONNECTIVITY (aka Internet connection/network) and FPS has to do with your gear (read: Graphics card, CPU, etc).

If ever you see a LOW FPS but your ping is good, ck first your vid card, then CPU. I have had all sorts of problems through the years from burnt out vid cards to old ROM BIOS causing Windows to not recognize my 4-core CPU and only running on 1 core! My FPS was 6! Unplayable. Flashed my BIOS with the latest firmware and BOOM...fixed.

Thanks man, I'll remember that info going forward. The silver lining to this is I'm slowly becoming "educated" computer wise. I am glad that I got off the wifi, game play is a lot better.
