Our All maps server hasn't been doing as well as we all hoped and overall hasn't be a favorite of most members. Something that won't get filled until a select few beg people to join. After speaking with Killer and some leadership, there is a possibility of switching it over to something different with a few ideas in mind of course. Keeping it populated and get into the top 100 servers within a few weeks of its introduction. Please respond here with why you think your choice would do well.

Remember the reasoning behind server choice.

  • Popularity
  • Recruiting
  • Stable Ping
  • Respective Admins

All responses will be taking into account by BF leadership. In the end, the server may end up staying on all maps. Currently they just want your opinion.

I'd play Metro. It's essentially the same as Lockers which is always full. Pearl Market i've seen go either way, it'll be good or it'll empty the server.
 
I know this meant for the members but, I find myself sometimes playing lockers instead of this server because there no else in that server. Most of the time there is always crowd playing lockers. As a result, people may tend to play with that group rather playing regular server that they like. After all, it more fun playing as a group.
 
Here is my 2 cents on changing maps from my view as someone who is well experienced in the matter:

We need a map that will keep the server populated all day with out all of us needing to constantly help get it populated through out the day every day. What ever map that is picked must be one that can keep the server populated (like Lockers and Shanghai). So what ever map is decided on it should, above all else, be one that will consistently stay full all day (2nd Lockers server maybe? :biggrin: ) and has a considerable demand for. Otherwise we will be back at square 1 and all this effort will be for naught.

Personally I find it completely unacceptable to allow one of our servers to be dead half the time. It is a waste of valuable eGO resources (money and time) to have a dead server. It is our responsibility as eGO Admins and Members to make sure that the servers that are operated with eGO funds run at their very best and are used to their fullest (not siting empty for half the day). That is why we should make certain, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that what ever map we all decide on will fill the server for sure and keep it populated. Anything but a consistently full server is a waste.

All that being said I personally like Metro of all the options. I don't think I could handle 24/7 Pearl Market lol! But what ever keeps the server full is fine by me! :thumbup:

Well that was my 2 cents (okay it was a lot more than just 2 cents :laugh:) on the matter.
 
I love lockers and its always full but would love to see it switched up and I would play in in a server that has. One round Conquest Large, Second Round Obliteration, Third Round Rush, then rotate. Spice things up a little bit. I think it populate.:thumbup1:
 
i dont really play much atm but ill throw in my 2 cents anyways:

dont change it to metro. pretty sure we have tried it before and it didnt work if i recall correctly. not to mention its just like another locker server.

about pearl market: i havent played the map much and i dont know how much ppl like it. if its popular, sure go ahead and give it a shot.

hc; same thing as for metro. we have always had a few ppl want a hc server and once we had it ppl werent playing much on it. maybe because they didnt get the maps/modes they wanted to see. in the end it didnt work.

what i would like to see: lets try a different game mode. i personally always loved to play obliteration. i know we tried that twice but the first time the server was changed to something else after about 2 days and the second time it was maybe a couple of hours. personally dont think you can rly judge if it worked it after that little time. i dont know how popular other modes are but i would be happy to see another mode and willing to test it.

I Think I'd Agree With Crazyeyedjack.. I Am A Lockers Fan And I Guess Lots of People Also Are.. But What I Think Missing Is A Different Mode Map.. Not Just All Rush Server Or All TDM Or Sth Else.. I Think It Should Be The Same Map But Rotation of Modes Instead of Same Mode Rotation of Maps.. I Would Love It To Be Lockers But I Think It Can Also Be Shanghai Too..

Metro! Now in my opinion, I don't think we should do TDM, personally that game mode is quite fustrating for me because it is so much close quarters and just gets annoying sometimes. But I do like the 24/7 Metro idea!

or 24/7 Golmud?! I do like that map ALOT.

I think different game modes, obliteration, rush, chain link. Each on just a few good maps with vote options.
 
CHAIN LINK! It is required for one of the achievements and is basically just like conquest! Why not have that one?!
 
Well I would definitely play a 24/7 Metro server. However I'm not a fan of Pearl market so I would be one of those who bails out when map change happens. I like the idea of Game mode rotation. I think if that were to happen some research for the best possible maps to pair with a particular mode (example Hangar 21 TDM is freaking awesome, Metro Rush was always a good time). The thing about Game Mode rotation is most of those modes are better with 32-48 players. 64 man Rush is a pain in the arse. So such an endeavor should be looked into carefully. Not sure if resource wise it is better to have 64 players or not.

I was the only one to vote for HC and after reading some of the comments about it I guess I should retract that vote and chime in with 24/7 Metro.
 
Hardcore Conquest or 24/7 Perl Market when Metro 2014 wins i want only one rule... no explosive :) We have 24/7 Operation Locker with no rules and always nade and xm spam ehhhhh sorry for that but look at =ADK= Metro server they have no explosive and always full
