Getting close to getting out of the oil patch in the next couple days for my 2 weeks off, and keep debating whether or not I want to start playing GO. I strongly dislike the way the game looks (from what I've seen), but was wondering what are some upsides to the game? How is the gameplay itself? Reviews would be appreciated!

Thanks.

Yeah, haven't played it yet. Been staying away from it as long as I could since it came out, but now that more and more people are playing GO and dropping Source... It's almost certain I'll have to play it sooner or later.

I remember when i first bought it when it came out, i hated it. But I forced myself to play it cause I spent $15 on it and it turned out to be my favorite FPS as of right now. The gameplay isn't bad and Competitive is pretty fun to play unless you get derps that troll and mess around too much. I say give it a "GO" and try it out. You'll like it.

I just got the game a week or so ago and I love it! probably because I was somehow pretty good at it, but the feel of it is a lot smoother after I put some time into it.

It's a lot different from source, that's for sure. But you really just kinda gotta play it and get used to it. I used to play a lot of source, and didn't wanna play GO at all, but i just kept playing it and ended up liking it more than I even used to like source. In general it's a great game, and lots of fun stuff to do, even if your not that great or into the competitive scene.

Yeah, lots of people hated it at first, takes a while to get used to but it's honestly lots of fun.

I learn something new everyday, just tons of fun especially with friends. I truly hope eGO will slowly shift over to it in the future :)

Took a while to grow on me. While I still greatly prefer Source, GO is a great game and the competitive matches can get quite fierce.

I have said it before, real men sink with the ship (CS:S in this case) so until Source dies completely im staying there, besides I don't have money to buy your crappy CS:GO, nubs and their silly game

You don't have like $5 to buy the game on sale?

Like most will tell you, CSGO takes getting used to. I hated it at first but after around 30 hours of gameplay I finally started getting into it. I prefer CSGO over CSS now, but others feel differently

I think everyone hated the game when it first came out, obviously comparing it to previous versions.. Just play it with friends get use to it and you'll love it! :)

i hate it with source till it dies

Let me know when you get it (If you get it)! Lately, we've had a couple of us get onto a regular server and play some games. It's usually a lot of fun and you get to know some people!

We should start playing Competitive Mode with some members. Comp is fun when you have people to play with. And as it was said earlier. "Don't solo queue." When you solo, you get randoms who will sometimes throw the match, be a rank they got boosted to etc.. But, I prefer CSGO over some aspects of CSS and CSS over some aspects of CSGO.
