Hey guys, I was watching some CS GO Streams, and people were really getting into it about the different types of crosshairs, which are different, why/why not etc.

Seemed like most people weren't big fans of the default dynamic crosshairs.

Are there any differences or functionality that you find different / helpful?

ie. static helps me target something when my accuracy is down. etc.

Thoughts?

I haven't done this, but a lot of players make their crosshairs smaller to get a more precise aim I've noticed

Cross-hairs is completely preference. Find a cross hair you like, then stick with it. I would recommend having a corsshair where you can see long distances i.e from A plat to pit on dust 2. Most streamers have their crosshair settings in their bio, btw. I've gone through so many crossahairs that i can't even count them. In then end your crosshair doesn't matter, its the muscle memory :)

Makes sense to me, I've been doing quite since I got the game a couple weeks ago, so I think I like the dynamic crosshair, I'll have to try out a static on, or some sort of hybrid option if there is one. seems like an interesting test project! :)

when i started the game i made a crosshair using a 3rd party site like this and just played around with it until i found one comfortable. been using size 5 gap 5 for the longest time now.

Honestly, I never thought about messing with my crosshairs, I've basically just stayed on the default, but now you make me want to mess around with it a little bit. But, as everyone has said, it's preference and whatever makes you feel comfortable when playing the game. Definitely something i need to look into.

rob is right, and as for dynamic, i dont like it because it bothers me and i lose focus on whats in front of me, ive been playing for a while and its become pretty easy to remember spray patterns due to muscle memory, i use a small light green crosshair because for some reason i notice and react to lightgreen easily, but everyone is different in what colors they notice the most so play around with it

I personally use a lt. blue static classic crosshair with center dot enabled. Ill try to get the console commands. It's a crosshair mainly used for the AK47 and M4a1-S rifles by personal preference. It just feels natural for me.
