No offense but I just checked out your HLstats and it shows that you built 6,450 SG's (5 points each) and you built 4,678 Dispensers (5 points each), which means you kept on building & destroying your own SG's & dispensers to build points every chance ya got. This mixed in with excessive hours of playing pretty much explains the high stats. Pretty cool score though....Cheers!

And what about all those times you built sentries on the battlements on 2fort?

I have hardly ever built on the sniper deck on 2fort. I tried a few times aftr I saw other engineers build there, but I get bored and you are an easy target for spies. Good snipers can headshot the engineers as well.
It is true I build whole lot more sentry guns, but I have more than three times sentry gun kills than the next guy. The number proves my sentry guns are doing its job instead of there to be just destroyed so I can build another one for 5 points.
I am also on top 3-5 on both sg and dispenser kills (now hlstats truck own building destroyed as a destruction since the update that penalizing the engineers who destroy own buildings) that means I have destroyed whole lot more of my own than any other engineers on the servers. The way play, I won't be surprised if I will be on top of both sentry guns and dispenser destroyed.
I have no doubt that bounce points for buildings help me gain points easier than the others since in order to keep moving up without any bounce, I need to maintain 10-15 kills per deah to not lose a point. Assuming people gets average of 25 points each time they killed me. Hlstats is a very simple system that tries to use way too many variables. More sophisticated stats calculations are required to make the rank fair for every class in the game. Even then, I am not sure if someone can develope the fomulas that works for everyone. I think one solution is to make ranks for each class instead of for all 9 classes.
