I was thinking, since I notice that there are few admin on the Popular Maps, 24/7 Shanghai, All Maps, servers, people tend to do stupid things and break the rules. So to help alleviate the issue, I propose that we create a watch list for people who have complaints about someone on the server.

Since our system is Warn/Kick/Ban, often times, the people on the server are (e) or not members of eGO. (e) does not have kicking powers, but we can warn. Sometimes, there are NO admin available at all. So even if someone continues to break the rules, we can't kick after numerous warnings.

The way this works is say you have someone being extremely racist. The (e) member or non-member would capture evidence of sorts, then same process as ban, except to have said person watched for future rule breaking. If they break the rules again, they get kicked. If not, then someone will do the paper work for the ban.

Agree? Disagree? Opinions? Just throwing this out there.

Samuria u can pull chat logs of the player and fill out a ban request on the player. By the sounds of what you saying. it will basicly take the play time from admin and make it so they are watching little kids...

i have been going and spending a little time there as well trying to see that the situations are dealt with,.. Ty for making a comment on the situation

This about sums it up.

Admins shouldn't be going out of their way to look for trouble, hence why the phrase "Play First, Admin Second" is often used around eGO (Admittedly, I had a little trouble with this).

If you, or anyone for that matter, see someone breaking the rules, get what evidence/proof you can and submit a ban request and the player will be dealt with accordingly (Also be sure to follow the ban request sticky thread to make sure all the needed details are given)

Leadership are aware of the number of times someone is banned, so they can adjust the ban time as needed as well.

Remember you can also message us on BL and in the platoon, We are able to see if you post anything on the wall of the platoon and it will alert us. Please do not claim hackusations on the wall though since many people yell it. Just watch the score and kill feed when you can and if you, as a member, think something is seriously up, message us. But as armypolice said, we are always on ts and if we are away you can poke.

I really like this part of Firehazard's quote. Going out of your way to try to ban someone takes away from the enjoyment of the game itself. Just have fun. The experience you gain as time goes by will tell you when to pull the trigger. Don't take things personal and it will all work out. Blatant rule breakers will get themselves banned before you know it. IMHO :)

Best thing right here but there are sometimes when someone is known for breaking a certain rule like map exploits that I go out of my way to stop it since it isn't fair to everyone. But I agree lone!

FireHazard, Lonewolf....Spot on and others should be doing the same. We speak about this all the time in Team Speak. When there is a big problem, we try our best to defuse or remove it.
