help with logitech g15 please :D

hey eveyone im looking at buying a keyboard and ive asked around on the forums and people seem to go with the logitech g15....so ive been looking at them and it looks like there is a newer one with the orange backlight and an older one with a blue backlight....is there any diff between these what one should i get please help me out....thanks

the newer one is more streamlined and smaller, but the LCD screen is alot smaller compared to the old one. and also, its built into the keyboard, not on a hinge. So if your at a weird angle you could get a glare. but if you dont care as much for the LCD, i would get the new one just because it is better looking. although, i am biased to the old one, i own one ^_^

Also make sure to count the Gkeys. Some say g15, but I think that the new ones, in fact, only have 9 or 12. I have the old g15 with the 15 keys, and I LOVE mine! The adjustable LCD screen is incredible. It's large and easy to read, and I like the feel of it. When I was hawking computers at Best Buy, I had an opportunity to try the new one, and I had to say I prefer the older version.

I have the Logitech G11 which is basically a cheaper version of the G15. It doesn't have an LCD screen but it is very effective. It is very easy to keep clean and the price of the keyboard isn't bad at all. Plus, the lighting in the keys is a very solid color.

my girlfriend surprised me with a g15 as an early birthday present-this is my first post with it and i'm still geting used to it, but i LOVE it! now when i'm playing in the dark, i can see my keys! before ng could be a bit hard to play in the dark) with the configuration of my current computer desk....the keyboard holder slides under the desk, and in my excitement the keyboard would virtually disappear and i would have to hunt for the number keys to build/destroy stuff!

i love my girlfriend!
