So yeah, I just reformatted my PC, forgot my steam password (I didn't write it down anywhere, sigh) and now I'm stuck with the key that was supposed to come to my mail box to help me reset my password. It's been over a week now - no mail so far. I tried sending it multiple times from steam and it won't budge. Any suggestions?

I've forgotten my steam password before and the secret question/answer that's required to reset the password.
I contacted valve via the support site, and I gave them my account name, and the CD key of a game I own, and they reset it for me.

I hope you get that solved man, since there have been so many cases of account theft lately. You just gotta pray that they can verify that you are the owner and just try what voided said. I'm sure that if you have the CD key and the account name that will believe you, though.
