Before everybody starts asking me anything, I'll quickly give some general information about myself:
I play 4 instruments, mainly the French horn, which I give weekly lessons on, I'm an avid gamer, I read a huge amount of manga, I'm a born-again Christian, I've worked with children for many years and adore babies, I have 4 siblings, Castlevania and Metroid are my favorite game series, I live in Oregon, I'm a semi-professional singer, I'm a state-certified tutor, I work at my church running the computer and sound equipment, I have Asperger's syndrome, I can't stand a lot of foods (no Mustoreo from me*), I have an adorable cat whom I love very much (she's strange, ask me about her), I first joined eGO in 2008 but took a hiatus of several years after my computer broke, and Spider-man is my favorite superhero.

You are on your way through the jungle to meet with a local chieftain. There are two tribes in the area, one is filled with cannibals and every one of them tells lies. It's impossible for them to tell the truth. The other tribe is the one you're trying to meet and they're the opposite of the other tribe. They're good hearten awesome people who cannot tell a lie not matter what, it's impossible.

You come to a cross roads in the jungle and cannot make out what the sign says. Two tribesman stand at the fork and they look identical. One is from the cannibal tribe and the other from the awesome tribe. You get to ask them one question. What is that question?

Why do you always represent yourself as Death from Castlevania?

I used to represent myself using my in-game character's face from RuneScape. That got old after a while so I changed. I use Death because I really like him as a character. He's almost always one of the coolest boss fights in any of the CV games. CV is pretty much my favorite game series as well. The Death I use in my images is how he appears in Portrait of Ruin, which I feel had his best design.

The final boss fight with him and Dracula at the same time is badass, too.

What name did you use here before you changed to Kelp?

My original handle here was The_Mighty_KELP. I still use this on a few older sites, like GameFAQs. I switched to KelpTheGreat because it placed the "Kelp" portion of my name at the start. People would look at the first part of my name and call me "The Mighty", which I didn't like. My very first online profile of any sort was just called K.E.L.P., and that was in RuneScape.

Since I was about 12 or so, so ~12 years. I also play the trumpet, piano, and baritone*.

*I can play it in the sense that I can pick it up and form notes. I've never actually played any music on it besides just noodling around. I could, though, if I wanted to.

I honestly don't know what you mean by "dirty brass player". Do you mean that, as a brass player, I'm dirty? Or since I play the French horn, I am a player of a dirty brass instrument?

No, I could never play the trombone. My fingers are too used to buttons to get used to a whole new control scheme.

Favorite manga is Yotsuba&! (for the humor) and Shaman King (for the awesomeness). Favorite anime is probably Nichijou (for the humor) and One Piece (for the awesomeness).

Fullmetal is definitely the most adorable. Nudist, however, is the cutest. I propose these two battle it out it for supremacy.

Okay, since the previous post gave you the non-answer (lol :chair, I'll do the other two now: the easiest thing to do would be to ask them something ridiculously simple, like what's 2+2, or what color is the dirt. This would be assuming that we had some language in common. If I wanted to be a smart-aleck (I do), I'd ask them what the carrying capacity of an unladen toucan is.
