I used to live in Vancouver, Washington and we crossed the river to Oregon all the time! Do you like it? I miss the ocean.... Colorado just isn't the same. At all, actually...

Why is your kitty weird? I kinda think that all cats are strange in their own ways.

Oregon is totally the best place to live. I love the weather and the scenery.

My kitty's name is Maytag! I named her after the main character of the webcomic Flipside. I'll post a picture of her in this thread later on. She's weird in several ways... first of all, she hates heights. She never jumps up on things because of this. Also, she loves water. When I take a shower, she'll hear the water running and lie down outside the door until I'm done and open it, then she'll run and jump in the tub and splash around in the water. She also plays in her water bowl. At least twice she's jumped into our sink and meowed until someone turned the water on for her! I've even taken her in the shower with me and practically gave her a bath with no complaints! After she feels she's wet enough, she'll jump out and wait for me to finish so I can dry her off with a towel.

Spider-man is my favorite hero because of how funny he is, basically.

I know, I'm totally dropping the ball on the picture thing. It turns out I haven't had any pictures taken of me for like 6 months! Today I'll try and take a picture of me on purpose so I can upload it here.

I'm sure I'd like them if I did. I grew up with Spidey more than DP, too, so that's a factor in it.

1. I've only heard a bit about it, it's supposed to be kinda like TF2, right? As much as I like TF2, it is getting dated. If Overwatch offers a similar experience to TF2 with a new engine and upgrades and stuff, it'd be something I'd like to play. The only class-based shooter I've enjoyed possibly more than TF2 so far was the original Monday Night Combat. That game was SOOO good. I even bought it on XBLA AND PC. SMNC just didn't cut it as a sequel and (imo) worsened the experience from the original.
2. I read a lot. I used to read a lot more novels when I was younger, but for the past few years I've read 100% graphic novels or comic books. I read about 80% manga, 20% other graphic novels. I own a couple hundred volumes of manga, and have read hundreds more from our library, which thankfully has a huge collection.
If I'm not reading or gaming, I'll be listening to music - typically while I do chores or drive to college or shopping or whatnot. I can't drive without listening to something.
I haven't for several years, but I used to like building stuff with K'Nex or Legos (specifically Bionicle). Maybe I should do that again, it sounds fun.
3. The Man Who Knew Too Little is my pick for funniest movie of all time. Two other movies that are my favorite ever are The Phantom of the Opera and The Prince of Egypt. EDIT: I forgot! Another one of my favorites of all time is Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home.
4. I'm gonna have to go with the time someone complained about me and got literally every detail of the complaint wrong. It was pretty close to the funniest thing I've ever read. (ask me in private about it sometime)

1. I hope to institute some more conformity and order in various areas. I like it when things are simple, easy-to-use, but elegant in their order, so I hope to be able to make a lot of things work like that. So far I like it a lot. Ask me again in a few weeks when all the responsibility starts to overwhelm me. XD
2. The only sports team I've ever been on was a T-ball team when I was like 6. I don't really like sports/I'm not really good at sports but they're fun occasionally. I particularly like badminton and ultimate frisbee, though I'm not very good at catching or throwing that darn discus. =P
3. Before eGO, I used to change my Steam name once in a while. A favorite of mine was "WHAT'S A CAPS LOCK?". If my name wasn't Kelp, though, I have a particular fondness towards "Gouda, God of Cheese".
