Let's discuss movies rather than just rate them.

First off, American sniper.

I'm not a fan of Bradley Cooper, but he did a good job in this movie. It was an understated role which is right up Clint Eastwood's alley.

I came in to the theater with all the wrong preconceived notions. I thought it would be all about his PTSD and him crying all the time and there not being much action. Boy, was I wrong. This was a very decent movie.

This movie basically stole all the oscar nods Gone Girl should have received. I don't know how it got so many.

It probably won't take any of the major ones, maybe one or two of the technical awards.
