used to, played for only a little under a year, up to about september. (then gave a little bit to check out the dx10 update. purrrrty). great game, liked it a lot. I joined up to play with some friends from my DAoC days. they got me into an 0.0 corp that was renting 1 system from BoB in Fountain. They eventually moved on to BoB themselves, as they were all high SP, and I floated off to join Resurrection in RISE. then i ended up quitting sometime in there...it was well before the goons swooped in and erased RISE.
i think i missed the glory days of eve for the playstyle i have. I mostly just want to pvp. i'd like to log in, jump into whatever ship, then go out and have a chance to at least shoot at something, and have a little excitement. instead i found it's usually more jumping from empty system to empty system. or you could go straight to a 0.0 entry system and donate some stuff to a gate camp. rise was a lot better, more activity. but i ended up not carin too much for fleet battles...too laggy or too long and boring, pummeling POSs.
my DAoC buds still play with BoB and keep me updated with the war. exciting stuff.
who do you fly with?

Is the game any good don't you have to pay like 15$ monthly?

I'm trying it out but the text is really small and hard to read so thats a major drawback. Also its not very noob friendly, I spent an hour or 2 trying to figure out how to get a new ship since mine was blown up. And googling for help really doesn't work.

This seems to be the case with most MMOs, and the reason I don't play them. After a while, it's just a grind, and who wants to pay a subscription when there are plenty of free wastes of time out there?
But all joking aside, I used to play EVE as well, and my situation is similar to Crash 303's. I played it, got bored and stopped, played some more, and got bored again.

EVE Online looks kinda interesting. Can someone describe what you do in the game, and what its like, and things like that? I'll see if I want to try it some day.
EVE is kinda hard to explain, I was part of a 0.0 clan in the DOGMA alliance. was part of a few fleet battles againt BOB in a Rohk, then TF2 took me away. It can be really fun if you know everyone in the corp, and have friends on, otherwise it just got boring mining by yourself. If you guys want to get on, let me know So I can get Caldari BS lvl 4, gonna take bout a month. lol
