Tech Help question game dods

hi;
1/ every time my computer should load this folder, I get the following message:
couldn't CRC map maps/dod_outpost_6.bsp,disconnecting.
does anyone know a solution to this problem?

2/ What settings should I use?
rate ? now set to 20000
cl_updaterate? now set to 30
cl_cmdrate? now set to 66
How can I find out?
