[poll] Ipod or Zune.

I own a Zune 80GB, and it's great. The firmware is great, as well, I use it as my media player. A little sparse in features, but that's a plus to me. Be careful - mine is a hard drive, the 4/8GBs are flash drives and probably are a bit faster/harder to break, so they might be better for all I know. It's a matter of personal taste - I would NOT install iTunes if my life depended on it.

Yea, my friend Erica bought a 30gb zune (i think) & she loves it! One thing i have noticed about the guys who have talked about their iPods is that they havent said they can get music OFF their mp3 player whereas you can remove music from the zune through their software. Another great thing is that the zune is so much cheaper than the iPod (but hey if people are willing to throw away $$ on an mp3 player that has been proven by tests to have battery leaks (which can harm the body) as well as the fact that they wanna be in the "in crowd" then hey let them).

I say the Zune because you can transfer music wirelessly from one Zune to another. I think that is pretty sweet. Zune can do everything that Ipod does except Ipod can't transfer music wirelessly.

Yeah, but last I heard, you can only listen to a shared song for something like a day before you can't listen to it anymore.

I have an ipod touch that I got for Christmas from my boss. I absolutely love it, have had no problems with it. It does take some getting used to, but it's just so deliciously gimmicky. I did go from the 30gb video ipod to only 11 or something, so that hurts.

Not trying to be an ipod fanboy, though, because I've only had the ipod and have had no experience with the zune.

I have had both, and all i have to say is there is nothing better than the 80 gig zune. The only draw back is the zune software, you cannot buy tv shows or movies, and you have to use Microsoft points.

But over all the zune is better in my opinion

You can export music off of your Ipod as well, just download some free software.

ya, I forgot about the zen too. I've tried it befor and its a great little thing. So zune or zen, forget the ipod.
