We didn't have a strategy or TF-101 type of forum and this would be much better suited for something like that. Failing that, however, just a collection of stuff I've found or think would be useful to know.

A medic raises uber charge meter faster by healing damaged players
** Healing many players 150% health raises charge faster than keeping it on one player

If an engineer stands in his gun's line of sight instead of behind his gun, if he is backstabbed, the sentry will kill the spy after.

Stop drop and roll does NOT work when you are on fire in TF2.

Shoot the medic FIRST!

You can use your shots to "relocate" enemy sticky bombs.

Scouts can do their additional jump in the same direction as the first jump (Also in the reverse direction)

Easy way to kill sentry guns as a soldier is to just quickly step around the corner and fire and then step back to avoid being shot at. Rinse repeat 4 times and the sentry should die.

If there is an engineer repairing his sentry gun while people are shooting at it, try to make your shots damage him as well and not just directly hitting the sentry gun (i.e. shooting the wall behind the gun to do splash damage or the ground next to him.)

As a demo man, try to put your stickies in spots that the enemy can't see, like on the side of the wall as you turn a corner, or behind a box, so that when they walk by, they don't have time to react if they happen to see them.

When you are a spy, disguising as a different class on your team can be useful. If you disguise as a friendly soldier and duck out of the way, you can then disguise as the enemy and pop back out and make the other team think that the soldier was killed. You can also use this while moving in a group with your team, so that the other team isn't aware of an approaching spy.

When playing soldier, try to shoot the ground where the enemy is likely to be going. This also helps if you jump before you shoot to give yourself a better angle. Also, if you run out of rockets, quickly pull out your shotgun to seal the deal. The enemy will usually die in one to two shots if you have hit them enough.

These are a few tips that I have to offer. :P

Engineer
- Hit the things you're building with your wrench to make them build faster.
- You can jump up on your dispenser and your sentry gun by crouching as you jump.
- Be careful not to stand in front of your sentry gun if you can help it >_<...
- One level 3 sentry is far more useful than two level 1s - help your fellow engies build.

Sniper
- Be mindful that people can see your sniper dot. This works two-fold - 1) it can scare off some people if they see the dot on the wall in front of them, but 2) this can also give away your location to enemy snipers and soldiers. I personally prefer to leave the dot where people can't see it, but it's really just a personal preference.
- For a heavy-medic combo, try to headshot the heavy first. This is probably one of the few times I can think of where you don't want to shoot the medic first, the other being if you're a spy and can get a backstab in on the heavy. If you're successful, the medic will usually run away...or occasionally try to get revenge with the bonesaw/syringe gun.
- Try to stand in a corner or with your back against the wall. It will sometimes save you from the backstab.

Soldier
- As a soldier, you have a far longer maximum range with your rockets than a sentry gun does - use that to take down enemy sentries without taking damage.

To add to the hiding your stickies thing. What I do, instead of spreading your stickies out, is I put my stickies one on top of the other to make it look like one sticky. The enemy is less likely to run from one sticky.

As a Pyro, if you are fighting another pyro, do not try to face him/her head to head. It is much easier to side step and get behind. You save a lot more health that way! Also, hallways are a pyro's best friend. enemies cannot strafe and get around you, they can only go backward and forwards.

Medic- Once you lock on to another player your heal stream is very flexible... If in a tight situation, it can be useful to hide around a corner so u can continue to heal your team mate without risking damage to yourself.
- Your bone saw is incredibly powerful, a cocky demo or pyro might walk up right next to you, if you can take your bone saw quickly, you can generally kill them in one or two hits.
- On capture maps its very common for another medic to have his uber charge ready at the start... so if you both use uber at the same time... its a waste... wait for the first wave to go through and leave your uber in reserve... their defense is gone and now is a great time to attack, and they wont expect it.

Sniper - Most snipers take the popular areas that other snipers use to fight from, try being creative and use some other spots that will make it harder for the enemy to spot you... places they don't look, think spy. after you have killed a few people, relocate.

Scout- effective at hit and run, your shotgun is deadly at close range so try to get close enough to do some serious damage, then back off to be a harder target, your handgun is effective at long distances, very long ones. So, an idea could be Shotgun, run, handgun, or visa versa.. and that baseball bat is another great option.

Demo/Solider- want to be clever? if you attack an enemy and he runs behind a corner, think for a second... if you stop spamming rockets/grenades for a few seconds he might come out to look... and if you give him that delay... and you fired a few shots in that delay time... the minute he comes to look he has a rocket/grenade in his face.

Sniper-on the Convoy map one of the most effective spots to camp is right in the front of your train, it is dangerous getting there but if you can get there you are hard to stop sometimes

Scout- Don't die!
Soldier- Don't die!
Pyro- Don't die!
Demoman- Don't die!
Heavy- Don't die!
Engineer- Don't die!
Medic- Don't let others die!
Sniper- Don't die!
Spy- Don't die!
Hope this helps. :P

So moose...when ya going to take your own advice :P ^.^

Spy tip: If your on a less populated server...look to see what classes they have and look like those..if they dont have a medic and you change to medic...your going to die

I have one.... not that I play demo that much but here's a great one. I usually lay stickies ON or IN the intel. If its done right when the intel is sitting there spinning... the enemy has bno clue irts rigged. And you can be in courtyard or in resupply and when u get the announcement that enemy has taken the intel.... click BOOM and you will see the enemy has dropped the intelligence, etc. Its a hoot.... and pretty effective (u can lay like 5 or 6 stickies for max blast range)... just no crits though to keep it concealed.

Boom

Heh, medic is a pretty bad one even if they have one on their team. When you're disguised as a medic, you'll be holding the syringe gun, which real medics almost never have out unless they're firing it wildly at someone.

The medic disguise can work very well at times, but you have to be very careful about it. Don't get so close to alert enemies that it's obvious what you're doing.

Tip for everyone: Stay alive.

Studying maps can be as good as practicing. Try to look for ambush spots, where the enemy would be unaware

Look for spots to place your sentry where its less likely to get hit.

form a circle around the medic and move as a group works both as ultimate push and defense
