As you may have noticed, eGO has many special awards and achievements that we offer our members. These are just one small way for us to recognize members for the efforts they put into the community and for things they do on the servers or here on the forums.
Here are some examples of awards:
A Heart Of eGOld - Awarded to those members who have performed acts of great kindness within the community.
Handy-Man - Awarded to members who, without hesitation, step in wherever and whenever needed.
Here are some examples of achievements:
Server Supporter - Supporting our eGO servers by starting or idling an empty server.
Podcast Guest - Awarded to members who participate in an EdgeGamers Podcast.
White Hat - Helping leadership squash bugs, making eGO a better place.
BF Ace Squad - Awarded to members who win a tournament hosted by the Battlefield Division
DoD:S Ranger of the Week - Awarded to a special member in the community who consistently answers the call to help fill Day of Defeat servers.
TF2 Team Leader - Providing encouragement for fellow team members in Team Fortress 2 servers.
How Do Awards and Achievements Work?
The process is actually very simple. Leadership issue awards and achievements when they see people who qualify or deserve to be recognized. Since leadership eyes cannot be everywhere at once, they also depend on the other members of the community to help them spot people who deserve recognition.
If you see a member doing a great job or you notice someone qualifies for a particular achievement or award, please use the DropBox to recommend that member.</div>
