A question came to me and I'm actually unable to figure out the best/cheapest method/answer to it: If you are traveling, say for a vacation, business trip, or even moving, what's the best way to secure your monitors for travel to avoid damage?
I figured some kind of hard shell case is the way you want to go with monitors, especially if you're traveling via plane. But what are the best and cost-efficient models or products you can use? And if you are moving, that would most likely entail driving. If the original packaging is unavailable, you would need a different method to safely pack the monitors so they don't get damaged by any luggage or boxes in the vehicle.
Anyone have their own experiences or ideas what's the best method or answer to this question? Let's put the scenarios as involving 1-3 monitors, and let's try to make a budget of about $150 max (about $50/monitor involved), and you are traveling via plane or vehicle.
