I've been absent from the servers and Battlefield for several weeks now. I finally got my new PC built and jumped on last night. I had Teamspeak up, and i was only able to get around 20 fps. It made the game nearly unplayable. I turned Teamspeak off and i can get 75-80 fps on max settings. Is Teamspeak that much of a drain? I havent had any issues in the past, so what could be causing them now? Today I even streamed on Twitch while playing World of Tanks and was getting 60+ fps on max settings. Any help/advice is welcomed.

Are you using "Overwolf" with TS for the in game overlay? I know that chokes down the frame rates a bit. Most ppl don't use it for that reason. Some ppl has seen as much as a 20+ FPS gain from not having it.

I do use overwolf, but I gave always used it not not had any issues with Teamspeak before. I even have it up with twitch and don't have any issues.

I'll check it out when I get off work and double check the drivers. When I downloaded Teamspeak again after changing everything it looks like a newer version. It's just strange I'm having an issue with it. I'll double check my drivers and see what happens.

Depending on what your GPU is, ATi has released their Beta Catalyst Drivers a few days ago, and IMO the drivers are awesome compared to the Omega drivers that are the "current." Something to look into......

I updated all of my drivers and it actually worked good today with Teamspeak up. 85+ fps on high settings. Hopefully I don't have any other issues. See you all in the servers :)
