Yeah I was wanting a good headset, I believe there was one with like a voice changing capabilitiy like a logitech g3 or something not sure, but give me your opinions on any headsets anything is better then nothing that voice option is not a big deal compared to clarity and noise reduction.

First time i got a legit headset was the "SteelSeries Siberia v2" ones. The mic broke, so i went to turtlebeach, then Afterglow. In the end, i went back to Steel Series because of their comfort and mic and sound quality.

Logitech g430's
Here i will refer to a post that i wrote a several months ago when Michael Bolton was looking for a new set.
Here is the pm he sent me after buying them.
My review and personal experiences with these is also posted below
Now there is something i need to add to this. Logitech's technical support is Awesome!!!!!!
I started having a short in one ear due to my son screwing around and trying to chase after my younger son with them still on his head. lets just say they flew off his head and hit the ground. They did not break cosmetically, but it did yank on cord too hard and split the wire on the right ear.
Logitech had a new set at my front door within 2 weeks without having to send my old set back. now that is unheard of these days. For that Logitech will always have my business

I myself have the Logitech g430 and absolutely love it.

They are very comfortable and lightweight. Have worn them for hours with out any comfortably issue. They don't make your ears sweat when wearing them for long periods of time, I find that the both games and music sound phenomenal through them.
The mic is flexible and can pivot up if not in use.
I am impressed by their durability. I have hardwood floors and have knocked them on the floor several times with no breakage, plastic chipping off or other cosmetic damage with the exception of scratches.
If you have other Logitech components such as a gaming mouse or keyboard. It uses the same software for configuration
The only con i do find is the the mic is set on the left side and headset cannot be flipped to wear it on the right side

I'm currently using the Astro A50 Wireless Gaming Headset for PS4/PS3/PC/MAC (GEN 2).
I REALLY REALLY like them. The sound is VERY good.
But.. not cheap.

I can +1 the Astros, love them. But if your looking for a good thing for PC, the best thing I reccomend is a USB mic/headphone combo. Personal recommendation, either the blue snowball, or blue Yeti, both really good. Headphone wise, is up to you. But if you want headset, the Razer Kraken 7.1 Chroma is an awsome headset.

I made a thread about looking into good gaming headsets but what answers I got was that a headphone/mic combo. The Showball mic is what I am going to be getting and I will be getting Sennheiser headphones that are better then a headset with mic attached.
I think that a headset is more expensive then a headphone/mic combo. I'll be purchasing the Snowball mic and Sennheiser headphones soon because my Turtlebeach PX22s are dying on me (the cord is loose).

What about sennheiser pc 363d? Have a mic and are equally as good and better than alot of sennheiser headsets. Depending on budget, they're expensive.
Also Two good headsets I can suggest are the
QPAD QH-90
and
Gamescom 780's.
Both excellent and not that expensive.

I just bought a set of these and really love them. I prefer wireless because I set back from my pc, so the good wireless ones are a bit pricey, but if you don't mind to spend the $ check these out.

Headphones generally have better sound quality than gaming headsets for a cheaper price. If you get good headphones, and get a ModMic, you'll be golden. The Superlux 668B are a good headphone option for under $50 and then a ModMic (Which is a boom mic that attaches to the side of almost any headset) is about $50. So you spend $100 and blow any gaming headset out of the water. The best bang for your buck would be AudioTechnica ATH-AD500X or 700X. They're about $90 and $120 respectively. Great sound quality, open back so you get a great sound stage (Better then the "Surround Sound" on gaming headsets).
I was looking into these a few days ago, I like them a lot, just dont have the money for them right now. Maybe for my BDay ill get them.
Just one question about it, is there any interference with the headset at all.
The ones that I have had did not come down to me spending almost 250 for a wireless headset but I have been trying to find one for quite some time.
