Alright here we go Guys/Gals!

The eGO Demo of The Week!

Everyone dreams of seeing their gameplay being viewed by other players and friends. The idea of this contest is to do a Day of Defeat Source Demo of the week in which you the eGO members submit 1 demo a week to my email and the top 3 of my opinion will be uploaded to a youtube channel. The top 4 demos in that month will be put into a vote on the forums the demo that you guys vote for will win a prize from me! This is for ALL Divisions but it must be in the game Day of Defeat.

Basically-- Record a demo add a status in console right at the beginning


The demo must fulfill the requirements of the weeks restraints including The demo must be submitted before that weeks Friday at 12am est.


Submit the demo to---- [email protected]
subnote- Make sure it is the raw demo no editing done(must be a dods demo file)
Mark the ticks of the beginning of the clip to the end of the clip
Example: tick 1993-2769

Each member can only submit 1 demo per week so make sure it is your best clip you think you will have that week(Saturday-Thursday).


I will watch the demos and choose my top 3 each week and upload them to a youtube channel. Once 4 weeks has passed the 4 number 1 demos will be voted on by YOU the eGO members and the demo with the most votes will win a prize from yours truly =(eGO)= Predator Lark.

A tick you could compare to frames and can relate back to certain points in a demo, I guess. Basically you can use Demoui to view your demo and then view what the "Tick" is when you come to the point of interest in the demo.

Shown here is where you can find the tick after typing Demoui and loading the demo via console:

When you send in your demo with the Tick parameters it is easier for predator to view the demo quickly and see what you're trying to show him and what sorts of awesomeness you've been up too.
