Ronnies New Comp We shall see :)

Case is nice!
Good HDD!
I would go with an intel setup though, if I were you.
Look at this motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128059
I have it, and it is great (although only has one PCI-E slot, not bad unless you want two GPUs). Really fast, well built, and is a nice Intel P35.
The GPU is great.
RAM is great.
Since you save a lot of money on the motherboard, get a nicer CPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115003
And another Zalman for LGA775, they make great HSFs.

Well, that is just my input. But if you've already got this stuff on the way, don't sweat. That is still a pretty sweet rig you are putting together. Yay frames-per-second!

Ah, I forgot that. Don't use the junk Zalman sends you. They make great coolers, but their paste isn't great. AS5 is much better, and cheap!

Id rather go with the PC Power and Cooling at 119..its only a 610 watt..but is a PSU that has been time and time again proven in many places.

Nice setup tho, aside from the Green team =P. Everything looks super solid!

Is the processor the black edition? GJ though Garden.

Also, you price Vista OEM?

Up the ram to 4GB, throw in another 500GB HD for raid fun and a 64 bit OS (Vista 64 is less of a pain than XP 64) and you're set.

Have you looked into intel cpus? I believe that there alot better than any of the amds out there. As for a mother board look for something with a x38 or a p35 because there pretty recent, while the 570 was a generation ago.

Seconded.

Very nice setup Garden. I have a similar motherboard, and I love it. The main difference is that mine has the 590 chipset rather than the 570.

I was in Vent last night when they were talking about the PC. If I'm not mistaken, that particular motherboard was chosen due to it being SLI capable. Ronnie's not doing SLI now, but I think he wants to do it in the future.

I have a 570 SLI MB and it works great - the bios out of the box supports even the Phenoms (bought the thing in January).
