That's a good thing in my opinion. I suppose they play-tested it out and found that it was overpowered.
Edit: Ah and it says that in the thread too, should of read it first before posting.
Now when all this comes out the only problem will be too many medics!
I don't want the doctor to infect people. That's never made any sense to me in any version of TF. What I would like to see is an adverse drug effect from his syringe needle gun. They ARE syringes, after all. Why not get back that wobbly woozy thing spies used to do with their lousy grenades, but from a much more logical syringe?
The medic virus is when you used the medpack on an enemy, and they would be infected and lose HP until they died or grabbed health. Another affect was that it would spread to other people on the team that came in contact with that person. You could infect one person and they could end up infecting the whole team.
i think it would attract more people to play medic if they had the medic virus, sounds fun , it's the worst when you are on a team with one medic, or none at all
You don't realize how broken it is to have a permanent 200% health buff. Heavies running around with 600 base health wouldn't need medics to ravage teams, AND they can have medics use the medigun to keep that health at 600 (I don't think it would give them the additional boost to 900 because that's just ridiculous). Besides, Heavymedics don't need to be powered up, they're quite balanced as it is.
Medic gun=perfectly balence speed is fine and the heal rate is perfect what I say is that the medic needs more defense like a SHOTGUN or something that can deal high damage nothing hurts more then a 98% uber charge your right clicking like mad trying to active it because your heavy is dying then he dies now your defenseless with an almost full ubercharge

Medic virus= bad stuff in TFC

Especially when you found a spy faking death, stood on top of him, infected him, and waited for him to die a slow painful death.
The spy had no choice but to lie there and take it like a man becuase you were standing on top of him, or open up the console and type the "kill" command.
Anyway, Flippy I think the better answer to your original question (Why do I go back there?) is that you're obviously a masochist. You need some treatment, man. But Monkey has a point about us needing to maintain a presence there, so please, for our sake, don't seek treatment any time soon. (Also, you clearly don't have enough work to do at work, but we all knew that already. )
I personally think the Overcharger was good idea, maybe make it only 50% of the targets health or something less STRONG. The Virus again sounds great. Maybe after unlocking the virus, it's passively in your syringe gun?
