First of all, this is not a farewell thread.
With that being said, I've seen a good portion of this division finally come united in support of Jail. For months, I'd seen us fragmented and broken with the constant loss of members to other divisions or to retirement. I had almost lost hope in a comeback until CS:GO Jail came along. It was a slow start, but with the return of members such as Medviah and Drew, I saw an opportunity for us to come together. Some may say this was to bring prestige to myself, but I had no interest in myself but instead of preserving CS. In my new position of a Recruitment Coordinator, I promise to go above and beyond my task for all of us. This is our future at stake and I can't let it fade away.
I know there are still those who will stay behind in CS:S and I can respect that. We cannot abandon years of work and need to stay strong in my Source and GO. However, those who constantly fight between themselves in the years old debate between the two games will lead nowhere. To quote President Lincoln, "A house divided against itself cannot stand." We need to stand together once again and regain our position as the greatest divison of eGO or we will fall. Beyond this, I ask you to come and experience Jail. While not yet on par with the glory days of CS:S Jail, we try our best to provide the closest experience and with time, will be able to replicate it.
As for those who given support and dedication, I greatly thank you and promise your efforts will not be in vain. We are building the mythical "City on the Hill" and it will take sacrifice, but in the end, it will all be worth it. Unity, courage, dedication: the 3 qualities I found to define CS years ago and I know that we can make it come back. We were once the greatest division and we can be that again. Embrace the change and erase the doubt for the dawn has finally arrived. It will be our job to make this the brightest day that will shine above the rest.
tl;dr Jail's initial success, recent promotion to Recruitment Coordinator, Merging Source and GO players back into one, unified division, CS Division is best division, Jail (and GO) are our future.
